How old is she?

Quite honestly, diarrhea + throwing up in puppies usually means parvo. Especially if your puppy hasn't been vaccinated yet. Don't take my word on that. It could be several things, it's just for some reason, parvo is showing up early this year.

You need to take your puppy to the vet right away when something is happening that you know isn't normal. It's the only way to catch something that could kill your puppy before it reaches the stage of too late.

Please, take your puppy to the vet tomorrow and find out what is going on with her.

You did not tell us how old she is or if she has been to the vet for checkup yet? Those are symptoms of Parvo. More possible if just recently got her and hasn't been to vet to start shots. Possible even though she may have her first shots. The smell of the stool is extremely strong, worse than normal. They will quit eating/drinking and get very lethargic(lay around/sleep more).

They dehydrate quickly, even if not Parvo. Need to call the vet as most have a vet on call! Early treatment is vital, irregardless of what she has. Need to collect a stool sample in a ziplock bag for the vet. You can try getting water down her but she may still puke up. The younger she is the more risk.

May not be Parvo but when a pup is having both issues it does not take long for them to be in really bad shape. And you will need to really disinfect the areas soiled, mild bleach solution is best. Keep her warm! Watch her for real pale gums, serious. Try to induce slightly warm fluids best you can. Keep calling for a vet and do hope she is ok until you can get her seen.

Call a vet ASAP and until you can get her in, force feed very small amounts of fluids every hour. Most commonly a symptom of either parvo or a very bad case of worms, both or which can be fatal very quickly, especially in a young puppy. Just went through that woth a new puppy we got and found out she had parvo. I had treated her for 4 days with medications from the vet, oral fluids and even injected fluids under her skin and thought I was going to lose her, but on the 5th day she finally started to turn around and started to eat on her own. She survived this horrible viral infection, but on the same day she started recovering, my 1 year old chihuahua, who had been vaccinated, started to vomit and have diarrhea, and even with prompt treatment, he was dead withinin 26 hours. They dehydrate very quickly and get lethargic and refuse to eat or drink. Hopefully this is not what your puppy has, but quick treatment is essential with any vomiting and diarrhea due to the resulting dehydration which can kill them. If it is parvo, the virus is very hardy and can live for months outside the dogs body. You need to clean up each mess she makes with bleach solution and dispose of the vomit and diarrhea so that no other dog can come in contact with it. You can also search the internet to get lots of information on the parvo virus which can be helpful to prevent another occurance in your household. Most importantly----get to a vet NOW. Hope your puppy does OK.

You should take her to the emergency vet ASAP. It is dangerous for puppy and could dehydrate the dog. If you couldn't take her to the emergency vet, try not to give her any food and water for the rest of the night until the vet place open.
If you see the sign of recovering or she still has a lot of energy, I would still think you should take her to the vet for safety. For diarrhea, you can feed her boil rice, chicken (no skin), tofu, eggs, or non fat cottage cheese after 12 hours. Good Luck.

if u just got the puppy? witch i don't know. But i raise lab puppy's and when i sell them i tell the new parents what i feed because if u change there food or do not buy a good grade food like EX:(pedigree is what i feed works very well the pups r very healthy or u could say fat like everyone ) they will leak out both ends.also make sure that u r feeding food 4 a young pup. If u r feeding the same food as u have been feeding she/he needs 2 c the veterinarian

This is a typical kid pup. They always wait until it cost double to make us take them to the Vet. I would get to a Vet and find out for sure. It could be something as simple as the food she is eating to something as serious as parvo.
Only a Vet can help. Don't wait, get to one right away, she isn't going to get better on her own.
Good luck...you're a great puppy human. I'm my pets human!

I would have to see the puppy and ask many questions before I could even suggest anything. Take your puppy to the vet even if you think its getting better.. He will ask you all about your puppy and then be able to try some things to help. Good Luck.

You should get her to the vet in the morning...She may have eaten something that is causing her problems...Puppies often eat things they shouldn't. It would be serious for her to become dehydrated from vomiting and diarrhea, so make sure you provide her with fliuds

Try bringing her to an emergency pet hospital in your area. They should be open 24 hours. Make sure she has water b/c she's probably dehydrated. I would feed my dogs chicken soup when they get sick. That might help for awhile until you can get her to see a vet.

If it starts up again and your normal vet is closed, take her to an emergency clinic. It could be something serious. Be sure she is drinking a lot of fluids.
