Yeah she will be ok my dog does the same thing alot! For some reason her nails are really weak and easily get broken, I took my dog to the vet and they said just to keep an eye for infection and wash it with a lukewarm cloth and a tiny bit of peroxide. The nail will eventually grow back but it will take a while, just keep an eye on it and if you notice any swelling or puss infection etc take her to the vet. Keep her foot clean and if you can wrap it with gauze if need be and a little neosporin. Make sure she doesnt lick that off though cover it with gauze if you put some on. The vet will tell you the same thing no need to take her in unless she gets infection.. just keep it clean and treat it like you would a cut on your foot.

It may not grow back but she'll be ok anyway. You should take her to the vet to be sure she doesn't have an infection in her foot from the ripped nail.

my husband's blue heeler did the same thing. vet cleaned it up and told him to keep it clean. toenail grew back, a little funny shaped, but gives her no problem at all.

I believe so. Dogs just like human, unless her toe fall off, otherwise, she should be fine. Just give her sometime and she will grow them all back.

Even if it doesn't grow back - she will be fine without it!!! Are you keeping it clean & making sure it isn't infected???
