How to Train my lazy dog who doesn't like me?

I have a lazy pekingese who does not know how to do any tricks. Please only those who know a bit about this type dog, answer. She is a female, 7.5 year old, small and furry, but is very short as her breed is only that big. Shorter than a pomeranian, but bigger than a chihuahua. How do i get to train this lazy dog who doesn't like me much as I'm a kid

Dogs respond well to food, especially treats. Also, dogs need to view you as the "leader" before they listen to you.

Sit is an easy command. Pressing the rear down may work, but the dog certainly won't be motivated to do it. Rather, take a treat in your hand and let the dog see it. Then move the treat close to the dog's face, but don't let the dog have it. Keep moving the treat past the mouth, the eyes, and so on. The dog will be inclined to watch and follow. In order for the dog to keep watching the food as it goes past their head, they have to sit. When the dog finally sits, say "sit" firmly, give her the treat, and then praise her.

Do this for about 5 minutes a day for about a week. The following week, start using a treat less often, and just make the hand movement and say the word "sit." By the beginning of the third week, you shouldn't need to use a treat and use the hand signal less and say the word clearly. In about 3 weeks time the dog will have the command memorized.

I think that people are so lazy because they want the dog, but not the responsibility. Also, training a dog is really hard and is almost 10 times as hard as training a child since you can't talk to your dog. If you do not train a dog from puppy hood than it is way harder to train it. When they say that they do not have time, they mean that they don't have time to take care of what is theirs. People are normally lazy. I hope I have answered your question at least a little bit.

When training dogs, you have to do the things for them until they do it theirselves. When you say sit,push her back down and make her sit-she will eventually learn what that means. If you say lay,make her lay. Keep saying it until she does it on her own,UNTIL then you have to force her to do so.
