Backyard breeders and puppy mills. No responsible breeder sells a "teacup" anything as it's expressly against the Chihuahua club of America codes of ethics.

Basically, it's pet quality dogs, full of illnesses and genetic defects, bred to each other to make money. They sell to undereducated consumers who care more about having an 'ego' dog rather than people who take the time to do the research.

If you find anyone selling 'teacup' anything, run away. They are trying to take your money and give you a poor quality dog in return.

Pleeeeeeeease do not get a tea cup chihuahua. They are not healthy dogs and not an actual breed no matter what the breeder may tell you (No teacup dog is recognized as a breed by the AKC). They are many times more likely to suffer from serious health problems than regular chihuahuas. They are underweight and frequently inbred. Just get a regular sized chihuahua, that's still plenty small. I have never met a single breeder of teacups whose ethics I was happy with.

I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I think teacups are a big mistake.

Ye you're proper Tea cups are tender, it really is because maximum of them are created from china, Now you'd be extra appropriate procuring a mug it really is created from crockery Granite it really is slightly heaver yet do not spoil as fairly. as well china is costlier then crockery. there is not any such element as a teacup canines, would not count number what the breed. What you're touching on is a runt of a clutter, they're sickly and require a great number of medical interest. are not to any extent further truly honestly worth the cost you pay for them, and do not stay very lengthy.

Dont get one just because they call it a teacup they will mark the price up and try to get more money for the dog. Just go for a chihuahua they are always small and cute. You can look for a breeder online just make sure they are legit.

You can check your local newspapers classified ads and check with the vets in your area for breeders. Also the local ASPCA may know who you could get one from.
