is there any place that sells inexpensive dog crates...I haven't seen one under 35 dollars anywhere I go and since I will just keep my puppy in there at night it seems like a lot. I have heard that some people have creative ways that they make theirs but I'm not sure, any stores?

speak. I'm not asking for advice on how to get her to speak. I have no real purpose for her to learn to speak on command. I'm just wondering if anyone else has a dog that is willing to learn everything except "speak".

Again, please no advice on how to teach her. It's entertaining to watch her do a rendition of every trick she knows when you offer a treat, but when you ask her to speak she looks away. We tried teaching her since it's part of the list of tricks we always teach our dogs, but she won't do it and we're ok with that. (She's a Labrador Retriever mix that isn't interested in retrieving either).

Anyone else have a dog that's willing to do everything except one particular thing?

I woke up this morning and I fliped the covers over to get up and ready for school, and I noticed on my Doberman, Hammer, a Large lump on his back. And it didnt bother him becuase he was still sleeping on my bed. But i touched it and could put my hand around it comfortably ( im 15, so my hand isnt that big, roughly the width side of the keyboard long) and put a little pressure on it, and it hurt him. He turned around and moved my hand with his nose. I called my mom and she came over and looked at it, and she didnt know what it was either. Well when i got home from school I took a look at it and noticed it was a bit smaller and It looked like a long lump the size of a squished lemon, and on top, a smaller longish lump the size of a peanut And i guess some of it spread and it went toward his lower stomach, right below it and now its all jiggley and saggy. like theres water in it. . She told me she had iced it and it went down a little, but it went back up, and got a little bit bigger but i dont know what it is? I think either a welt, bite, or My most WORST fear, a tumor. It wasent like that yesterday? I did make an appointment tomorrow at 8, but im scared? what do u think it is? Also, If this helps, saterday, He knocked into the coffee table and my moms vase which weighes about 8-9 puonds fell right in the area where the lump is. but he didnt really yelp? and if it it was the vase, Why would that lump appear now? Also im going to give him a bath, and ice ithe lump, do you think that would help? also im going to try ebisons salt, would it work? Please help me. Its hard to breathe to even think its a tumor, im really scared. I love him so much, he sleeps eats and plays with me 24/7. And if it is a tumor, what would happen?

He was bought from another owner from another city and is a adult dog. He keeps wanting to wander off (to explose I suppose). Because our farm is nestled in a semi-surburban area, there are busy roads and other houses to worry about.
I tie him up outside when he wanders off as a punushment, but I though I lost him the other day when he went missing a long way from home for more than a day.
I just want him to stay around our house like previous dogs we have had.

due to pain. Only likes me now, not my hubby or kid! She is on pain relief, and anti- inflamm. I had her thyroid levels checked as well, they are normal. Any suggestions? I don't want to her to be PTS, but I can't have her snapping at friends and family either! She is crate trained and I'm barely managing! HELP!!

Ok, I have a mini yorkie. He got into a huge bar of chocolate, and ate around 1-2 inches of chocolate while i was away. I know chocolate is toxic to dogs. He has eaten other things with chocolate before (but not just pure chocolate) and seemed fine. He seems fine now but I really am worried about him. Any advice would be good.

Hi. I have a lab and a pug who are both 10. Both are in good health, but I'm just really starting to notice that they are getting on in years. I know about senior food, regular checkups, soft beeding, and keeping active. Anybody have any other tips from experience? they are my best friends, and I want to do what's best for them. Thanks!
