When I had a huskey I just left a bowl of food out for him. Some Vets say not to do that and if you don't want to then just feed him about 1-2 cups of food three times a day.

If its a puppy about 4-6 times a day, an adult about 2 times a day

Once a day is sufficient, but twice a day is better. Your dog will feel less hunger through the day and digest the food better in smaller quantities at a time.

You should feed all dogs twice daily regardless of size.It is healthier for them and better for their digestion.

check the dog food bag, it's usually on the back and you should probably know about how much your dog weighs. then split that in two. dinner and breakfast.
