Your dog is probably just shedding its winter coat and getting ready for summer. If you take it to the groomers or just give it a bath and brush its hair more often that should help.

I have a husky/sharpei mix and let me tell you he has more fur than most huskys. I had this problem with him a little while ago. First I took him to kennel-wood village to have the shed ex treatment but that only worked for a little while(this is good for summer and winter times when he sheds his coat for the coming season). Try putting him on vitamins. Ask your vet what vitamins would be best. You could also change his food to something better like eukanuba or natures choice, Iams might even work.
Wow thats one ranting answer!!! Sorry. Well i hope it helps i know how bad that shedding can get.
All the people above me are right you will never completly eliminate the shedding but it can be helped a little bit. Also major shedding can be a sign of malnutrition.

I had a beautiful pure white Samoyed Husky- when he was a puppy and started shedding aggressively I too thought something was wrong with him, but it really is just the breed- they need constant brushing and I highly reccomend a tool called a shedding blade- you can fill a bag a day with the hair it will grab. Other than that a regular semi frequent professional grooming shedule would also help.

Nope... believe me, I know....
Husky's shed... they just do. Think about it, they're meant to live in a very cold climate, outside... so they're always growing a winter coat, per se... and shedding it because it's too much...
Sorry, but it's just how huskys are! But they are great and totally worth it, just don't buy black clothes!
IMO, the best food is Nutro Ultra

do NOT use human shampoo on a dog, especially a husky, it could dry their skin out. Besides, huskys only need to be bathed 2-4 times a year.

huskies shed a lot, period. changing the food can make small differences, potentially, but you have a large, cold-weather, long haired dog. You have one of the shedding-est breeds there is and you can't really do much about that.
Brushing regularly (once a day) can help you control how much of the fur gets all over your house.

I have been giving it to have for about a month now..it works..it helps some with the shedding..I get it at Petco for like 10 bucks.. you should try it and see if it works

You could try it but I have never heard of changing food to keep a dog from shedding

Guess what? It's shedding season and unless you plan on her walking around in a plastic bag the shedding will continue.we have no choice but to brush and love them even more...One quick tip though....brush outside or you will get balls of hair rolling around your living room!!
