Okay so I'm getting the Mini Pini/ Pom mix and my fiance' thinks that Mini Pini's are bad, agressive dogs. All because he knew someone when he was younger who had to have their Mini Pini put down because it bit to many people. I tried to tell him that it all depends on how they're raised. But he just wont listen. Is there anyone who can help me change his mind?

When adopting our greyhound, we were told never to board them at a kennel. Is this true?

I am looking in to getting a service dog so that I can live more independently. I love Siberian huskies. But a lot of service dogs I see are either labs or retrievers. So could I get a Siberian husky service dog? If so, do you know of any place that'll train it?

Because i'm worried about the vet messing up on my puppy's spay operation i read stories about people who took their dogs to the vet to get spayed and the doctors ended up being quacks and didn't really know what they were doing and they made a mistake in the operation and cut too close to something i don't remember what it was but they said that their dog ended up bleeding to death and it died and i'm really worried about taking my puppy to get fixed what if that happens???
so what should i look for in a good vet to make sure that does NOT happen?

thanks

About 2 weeks ago we adopted a rat terrier puppy from the pound. Shortly after, I noticed that the puppy doesnt eat much. She also has this GAWD AWEFUL hacking cough, and bad breath.

At first, the fits weren't that bad, but now they are happening more frequently. She hasn't really gained any weight, her bones are showing and Im worried about her. I tried changing her food, but that didn't seem to increase her appetite either.

Could this be kennel cough. I did get her at the pound.

This evening I noticed red spots on the floor and come to find out, its coming from my 7 month old corgi. She's got an appointment to get spayed next month. I've never had a female dog before. Besides cleaning up after her & keeping her kenneled, what else do I need to do? Does this mean my male pit will go nuts?

I live in Wyoming and its below zero out there.. and I sit out there with him im not going to leave him out there not fair.. if I cant take the cold then he at 8 weeks old cant so I stay out with him also.. I take him out every 45 minutes... Is that to long?

If you stare at him - he becomes submissive and then after approximately 5 minutes runs like crazy around the living room with his tail tucked in between his hind legs. It's so strange to watch.
