San Fran has a beautiful SPCA.
You will be amazed (I was a little jealous, LOL!!) at the facility they have up there (I live in Sac). If they don't have a pug, they will put you on a waiting list and call you when one comes in.
A vet can tell you where to find good breeders.
www.petfinder.com is doing good things for unwanted pets.
Avoid buying Online, scams and sickly puppies are abundant.
Good luck.

I suggest googling for a pug or furbaby rescue in your area
also look on petfinder
or call local shelters?
Why are you looking for pug (not to breed I hope, if not a abandoned fixed one will do nicely).
Don't breed or buy while millions die!

I don't know where you live but in St. Louis there is an organization called flaw dogs. They have pure bred dogs that they can't show, and most of the time there is nothing really wrong with them, it may just be an over-bite, or they are too small.
