She squirms and wiggles and makes it VERY difficult to be groomed. My past groomer will not have her anymore because of her behavior and I have been doing it. I clip a section a day and she fights me the whole time. Her background: When I found her (and adopted her) she was 2mos old, had a broken leg, mange, kennel cough, earmites, worms and a distended belly from malnutrition. She is 8yrs old now and I have spoiled the little girl because of the tragic start of her life. My fault. Any suggestions as to a natural herb relaxer and amount to administer would be greatly appreciated. She weighs around 22 pounds (winter weight!) Thankyou.
And yes of course I called the animal control officers on the people with whom I saved her from.

He loves everyone else, but when he sees a black person he goes crazy and chases them. No one had any influence on his behavior, but he still does this even when I tell him "no." What's his problem?

I have 2 chihuahuas. 1. K - I have had for 6 years, last year I got another one B. The problem is B has turned into the alpha female and K is literally starving. K has lost 3 lbs, is listless and depressed most of the time, B is overweight! She is stealing K's food. I got B because she was abused, she's over that now and thriving......but I'm really worried about K. I got a kennel the other day, & B can stay in that, but what can I do to beef up K? Anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to you? B is considerably younger - 5 years, please help!

I currently have two playful pomeranians. How would a chin do with them? Also my BIGGEST question is how big do they get?? Their weight and such.
Any info from a current or past Chin owner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

She is 7 months old. We got a kitten a couple of months ago and the kitten bites her feet when she sleeps. But this evening my 10 year old layed down next to her and she growled and snapped and bit his lip. I'm not sure what to do to stop this, I cannot keep having this going on for my sons saftey. He didn't even touch her and has never been mean to her. Please any idea's. I live in rural newfoundland so there is no training classes available out here.

I have a 6 year old Boarder Collie *****, she was once owned by a breader but had a large litter when she was about 18months. Due to a complication the breader had to have her spayed. So she was no good as a breeding dog thats how I managed to come bye her. The problem that she has is she can't stand any small yapie dogs barking at her. She has a tendancy to first go into the stalk and then charge, she has nipped on a few ocasions but fortunatly for me the other owner presumed that it was their dog who was the agresser. Unfortunatly she is doing this more and more often and not with just small dogs now. On the hole she is a very smart dog and for the most time she is very obediant. Is there anything that i should be doing to stop this small spat of aggresion in my dog.

I have done my home work and looked up the information about the alaskan malamute and so far I 99.9% believe that is the breed that I want to go with.I live in Germany right now with my husband who is in the military,so it will not exactly be easy to add another member to my family, but it doesn't hurt to find out info and look thing up before I am able to get a pet. What I want to know is are thse kennels reputable...Lonestar kennel in Texas,Cascade kennel in Washington State,Yukonjak kennel in Canada,Woodlands kennel in Washington State,Hidden Creek kennels in Michigan,Keikewabic kennels in Canada,Missouri Malamutes,Snowlion Malamutes in California,Adair'N'hug kennel in Colorado,Matanuska&Snopeak kennels I also have a kennel title under the name of Wolf Glacier. They had all seemed professional with most of their breeding stock with championship lines. If anyone knows any of these please if you would give me some info.

Breed Specific Legislation is daft, I have just been watching videos on YouTube about American Pit Bull Terriers that had to be killed due to BSL.

Am I the only person out here that thinks that theres very rarely a bad dog, just a bad owner?

My friend was attacked quite badly by a Labrador a while back, does this mean that they should all be killed as well???
