The organs are much too rich, for puppies sensitive digestive systems. They should be given sparingly even to adult dogs.

They are, however, extremely rich and I do add a tablespoon or so to my adult dog's regular food every now and then.

Don't give your puppy pasta either, it will not be digested and will be extremely uncomfortable for him to pass.

I fed my puppies boiled chicken and rice, which I mashed up to a very fine mush and I added one drop of puppy mineral/vitamin/oil to the mix. They both loved it and are little muscle machines today.

Pick a puppy book for your breed, it will be a great source for you.

I agree with the above, I did get the recipe for my dogs home cooked meat food from their vet. That is where I get the supplements to add to their food as well.

Dogs need a certain amount of a special kind of salt in their food, to retain water in their systems, they also need a fat source or they will turn into dandruff balls and have zero fat on their bodies, which is not good at all for them, and I also put in a multi purpose oil from the vet to give them all their vitamins and such.

I love making my little dog's food, every day or every other day but I did do a lot of research and everything was passed by the vet first.

No, it's too tough for the puppy to chew on and could cause choking. I actually wouldn't recommend giving any dog cooked meat unless you have done a lot of research on preparing food for dogs. It's very different from preparing it for people in the sense that most dogs in the wild eat fresh meat that is at body temperature and has been fending off disease as opposed to meat that has been cut up, preserved, collected bacteria, and then been cooked. A dog’s body will act differently to dead strands of bacteria than peoples will. It's actually not healthy for people either but our stomachs are more adaptable to a variety of food and we tend to not show any signs aside from diarrhea when it comes to dead strands of bacteria. A dog could develop mucus in its digestive track which could result in blockage, diarrhea, or even bloat. Your best bet is to stick to a healthful dog food.

Yes but only a little at a time and only as a treat. The pups digestive sytstem wont be able to absorb so much iron at once so too much will make him sick. Raw liver is good too when they get older. I foster abused dogs and many come to me aneamic so i feed them a little bit of liver every day for a week to get them back to where they should be.

There are a bunch of things you should know about dog training but we are going to discuss what I feel are some the most important. Keep in mind that these are only some of the things you should know. Go here http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?6E19

1. Repetition is the number 1 principle of dog training. Dogs just like humans learn by doing things over and over in order to get better.

2. Dog Training can and should be fun for both you and your new pet.

3. Training sessions should always be short but sweet. I never work a dog more than 15 minutes in a session to keep from losing the dog's attention. You should train you dog at least once a day but never more than three formal sessions a day.

4. Your goal should be that each training session is just a little bit better than the last one. You need to always strive to make the training better, slowly. I mention this because quite often I see people who do daily training sessions but the dog never gets better and it is not the dogs fault.

5. Having patients is very important in dog training. Losing your temper does not work with a canine it simply makes things worse.

6. Exercise is very important in the training process to get rid of all the dogs nervous energy.

7. Taking your pet for walks is very important because it develops serotonin which gives your dog a feeling of well being.

8. Always be sure to give your dog a bunch of praise in your training. It is your dog's paycheck for doing a great job.

9. Never hit your dog. I have heard people say I never hit my dog instead I roll up a magazine and swat it. It's the same thing... hitting is hitting.

10. After each training session be sure to do something that your dog will enjoy. Take it for a walk, throw the ball or maybe even rub its belly. Just do something that makes the dog look forward to the next training session.

These are things that I teach my dog training students as well as my dog training clients. I hope these things will give you something to think about when training your dog. Spend some time training your dog daily and you will both reap the benefits.

Yes, serve it on a bed of wild rocket with some foie gras and lightly drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Don't forget to wash it down with a nice Shiraz...

...only if you want to clean up the vom and poop

Only very sparingly. Organ meat is very rich and may go right through your pup. You can feed more gradually as he gets older, but just go slooowy and watch for runny poop.

I suppose you could, but it is not recommended because they get sick (diarrhea!!!!!!) or some vomiting. I did use to feed one of my dogs liver, he never got sick but I fed him his regular dog food so he could get all the vitamins/minerals/ and what not they need.
