is there any place that sells inexpensive dog crates...I haven't seen one under 35 dollars anywhere I go and since I will just keep my puppy in there at night it seems like a lot. I have heard that some people have creative ways that they make theirs but I'm not sure, any stores?

I'm not sure where you live, but have you tried your local farm supply store (Farm&Fleet, Rural King, Big R, etc) or feed store? Often times they have them for much cheaper. We got one of our wire crates there for something like $60, and that's for a german shepherd! We've had it for two years now and it's held up pretty good. The only problem we've had with it is that one of the welds broke, but it was just on the wire that runs across the bottom of the door. My friend has the same brand for both of her dogs and while the one that's the same size as ours also had the same weld problem her smaller crate looks just like brand new (and is now 5-6 years old).

I bought a pop up for a pup that I took in. It cost $15 at Walmart for a medium sized dog. But, my pup didn't like it because it was too big for his taste. It's like a tent... canvas with windows and zips at the door. Also, if you have freecycle.com, get on it. People give crates away all the time. It's also a great site for giving things away (and getting neat things) that you don't have need for anymore! All free!

Sometimes you can see them in Yard sales.

We have a used store that sales things that people donate to the sheltered workshop here in Hope, Arkansas, very cheep prices too. If you would like to come down here and see you are welcome.
