How can i help to get my cats and pitt bull to live peacefully with each other? I just got the pitt bull a few days ago. I've had the cats since they were kittens. The pit bull is 1 year old.

My labradoodle always runs over and eats my Shitzu poodles food and she wont stop doing it. Also, my Labradoodle either goes up to my Shitzu poodle's face and nips at it or slaps her with her paw trying to play and then falls on the ground and lets the Shitzu poodle start attacking it. They do this all the time and when tha Labradoodle falls on the ground and the Shitzu poodle is attacking it, the Labradoodle wags her tail like she is having fun.

The Labradoodle is always trying to play and is very hyper, while the Shitzu poodle is very calm, grumpy, and most of the time doesnt like to play with people or my Labradoodle. What should I do to either make my Shitzu poodle want to play with people and the Labradoodle or make them stop fighting.

I have had dogs my whole life and thought I had heard everything about toxic foods but i just learned this. I followed up with research and it appears to be true. Has anyone ever experienced a problem with feeding their dog onions or garlic for that matter?

The ocean in Marblehead, MA is really cold, i mean reeaaaally cold. Yet, I see pet owners tossing sticks into the water for the dogs to chase into the ocean and they do it. On new year's eve the water temp was so cold it hurt my finger. The water rarely even reaches 60 degrees in the hottest part of the summer. So, does anyone know if it is dangerous for our dogs?

Whether the other dog is on the other side of the street, half a block away, or next to him.
It is quite embaressing, and once he even started a fight with the other dog.

I had the dog sterilized, so it's not hormones.
I asked the vet and he said it is probably a personallity trait.

Does anyone have advice on a good way of training away this behaviour, or am I stuck with it?

Thanks in advance,
Lee

My Gordon Setter was spayed just about a month ago and has a bald patch at the base of her tail. This we can put down to hormones as chances are they're all over the place right now.

However, I've noticed today that her whole back seems to be covered in a dandruff type of stuff. Is this down to the hormones too?

My dog makes it impossible to get groomed especially around the face area. It becomes very frustrating and he ends up with a horrible look.

I am researching all different types of dog breeds and I was wondering if you guys had any great websites to go to, I have looked at a ton but would like to look at more, I am looking to get a large breed dog soon and seeing as I am willing to pay alot for it my husband wants me to research more on other dogs before I lay a Finnish SPitz as my final dog, so if you have anything at all please tell me, will greatly be appreciated.

My dog loves to sit in the floor and hold his head back while I viguriously scratch his neck? Does it just feel good or is this some power trip he has over me?
