Because I had over 20 pets and I wonder why my dog that I have now is better and fun

this is because dogs are loyal, fun and very good companions. i've had many pets too and i can honestly say that dogs are still the best choice for me. they are better than cats, birds, hamster, fish, hamsters and most definitely tortises. i have loads of fun playing with my pet dog. he's a chihuahua. he is very loving and high-strung. it is so not true that chihuahuas are 'yappy little creatures'. you just have to take them out more, socialise and let them get used to humans. my chi is also good with children. very friendly!

I don't know that I would say that dogs are better than any other household pet. It's different for everyone. Don't get me wrong, if I had the money, I'd be laying on the floor right now playing with a little English Bulldog pup. But being a huge animal lover in general, I have several big aquariums in my house that I love to sit and watch, I've had cats that were the sunshine of my life, I've had dogs that made me smile just to think about. I think any pet is a blessing in it's own way, they are all just different in what they bring.

Because dogs are more active that most other and you can do more with them.
Cats: lay around and sleep all day. If not that then just walk around the house.
Fish: You can't do crap with them but just watch.
Reptiles: Are fairly exciting but they just lay in the tank and walk around it.
Hamster: Are only active at night and people sleep at night so there really not a point.

Depends on the dog and breed:
Personally I own an Akita. He is great with my Child and a number one guard dog. He is loving and playfull but also protective and independent.

Because they actually great you and let you know that they are glad that they're glad that you're home by jumping and wagging their tales and they love to snuggle up next to you and they will bark and if need be attack anyone they percieve to be a threat to their family.

they are more playful and can understadnd commands better especially when playing.
I had a cat that i tried to train once, it didnt work, i got attacked quite nastily by him. dogs are just soo much better!

Dogs are better because they can understand what we tell them...but we dont understand what its saying when it wont stop barking...anyway dogs look after your house...its their job...and they are happy when you are happy and sad when you are sad...its a good part time partner actually...but i love dogs....alot....especially playful pupies....so cute...

To me, dogs are just more loyal and loving. They return unconditional love. They are able to communicate with us. my dog is me best friend. He understands my moods. He is the best.
