Alot of people think it's called a "Teacup Chihuahua". There is no such thing! It's just a smaller chihuahua. Chihuahua's can range anywhere from 2 pounds to 6 pounds. The particular Chihuahua that Brittney Spears has, will stay that small. It all depends on how they are bred.

Brittany Spears at one time had three Chichuahuas. The irresponsible low life starlet gave them away because they K-Fed didn't like them according to one report I read. Another report said they were being neglected becasue of her having to deal with the kids all the time. Clearly she only wanted the dogs as fashion statements. Damn Paris for taking that trend into the mainstream. Anyway this reprehensible behavior earned BS an award as Worst Celebrity Dog Owner of the Year.

Chihuahuas are lap dags that require a lot of attention from their owner. They are also notriously nippy and barky. They saty small but are twice as much work to train as any other dog I've ever known.

Chihuahuas and Yorkies are so last minute in the dog fashion world. If you want to be in fashion, it is now all about the glorified mutts called designer dogs: Puggles, Buggles, Labradoodles, Goldendoodles and anything else you can slap a doodly name on.
