Does anyone know any symptoms of a female pomeranian about to start her mentrual cycle for the first time? Mine has been sleeping alot and acting lethargic. I am worried but she has also been humping her stuffed animal and trying to play with our male German Shepard. She will be a year old this month. Any help would be appreciated.

I hate this small dog with a passion. It scurrys around everywhere in a really anoying fashion. It pisses on the floor when i try to kick it lightly to get it out of my hair. I hate everything about it. What can i do to make it less anoying?

I got a puppy last christmas and a few weeks after god another puppy. They bonded and were really good friends, a few months ago my first dog got very sick and had to be put down. For a while after my other dog would not eat, would pee in the house even though she was totally house traine, and was no longer her energetic self. Lately she has been more like herself but still has her moments where she seems depressed.
Should I get another dog to keep her company or is she going to be fine on her own? Because right now I dont want to get another dog if it is not going to help my dog.

I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I was wondering what is the best kind of kennel for a dog? Is it better to build a chainlink kennel with a roof of some sort and an igloo-style dog house, or is it better to just build a shed and put the dog in there?

Our previously house-trained 4-year-old cockapoo has recently started peein in the house. Usually he goes into the master bedroom and pees on the white carpet. He has done this increasingly often over the last two weeks or so. He was pretty well house-trained before so I do not understand this!

I recently got a 9 week old puppy and was just curious as to how often should they be wormed. He doesn't have worms, at least not that I know of, I haven’t seen anything (he'll be going to the vet for a check up soon). He was wormed at 4 weeks and then again at 8 weeks so about when should it be done again?

we just got a puppy a couple weeks ago and i am having a hard time potty training him. i will take him outside and he will go but we will come in and ten minutes later he goes on the floor. i am going nuts and dont know what to do please help!!!!!

I have a jack russell that just turned a year old. She is a jack so obviously she has a strong personality and some traits that need training, but she is a little more than we had expected! She is a great family dog, but is very scitish (sorry very mispelled) around other people, even though no one to our knowledge has ever harmed or even looked at her in a bad way. She still has accidents, chases cars, digs.....on the list goes. So my question is does anyone else have a jack with similar behavior or can explain this? We have not been as consistent in our training as we should be, but is it too late? Any advise?

I have been grooming my dog recently to save money after my husband lost his job. I understand that there is a gland in or near the rectum that needs to be expelled. I have read that if the secretion is not expelled, it can be toxic. Any advice other than taking my dog to a groomer?

I HAVE TWO DOGS, A BASSET HOUND AND A LABRADOR/GOLDEN RETRIEVER MIX. THEY ARE BOTH TWO YEARS OLD. A FEW WEEKS AGO, MY BASSET STARTED EATING MY OTHER DOG'S POOP. IT TOTALLY GROSSES ME OUT, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CAUSED THE CHANGE IN HIS BEHAVIOUR (HE DIDN'T USED TO DO IT, NOT EVEN AS A PUPPY). SO WHEN EVER I CATCH HIM, I HAVE HIM WALK AWAY. WHY DOES HE DO IT, AND IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO BRAKE HIM OUT OF HIS NEWLY DEVELOPED HABIT? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
