I hate this small dog with a passion. It scurrys around everywhere in a really anoying fashion. It pisses on the floor when i try to kick it lightly to get it out of my hair. I hate everything about it. What can i do to make it less anoying?

Ignore it.

Try to learn more about dog behavior. When you go in the home ignore the dog. Do not make eye contact with it. Try to just ignore the scurrying and keep away from it. It sounds like an unhappy little creature. I have one that sounds similar and it needs a lot of help to get through the day. It is up to the owner to train the dog. You can leave a leash or drag line on the dog to catch it and put it away when people come over so it isn't so frightened by people all the time, or so it isn't such a pain. The handle should be cut off the leash so it doesn't hang itself.

If you are willing to take the time to help the dog out, try coming in and sitting down, ignoring the dog. Then later when it is calm, give it treats. Just have something it likes and can have some of, even it's dinner kibble. Just feed one treat after another for a while and then again to keep the dog quiet and friendly.
The idea is to have the dog look forward to seeing you. You may feel there is no need for this dog to be in the world, but it belongs to a friend, who, no doubt, has other ideas. If it is important to you, try to make friends with it.

Some breeds need more attention .Your dislike of the dog probably doesn't help his disposition.....Be charitable, and if you really dislike the little guy move away from him.... The other option, again if you can't take the dog's temperment , is to find a loving family to care for him......

1. Get down on the floor with it, face to face, and pet it and blow in its face.
2. Don't kick it.
3. Pick it up and look it in the face, pet it and blow in its ear.
4. Play ball with it until it is tired.
5. If you don't like these procedures, have your friend visit at your house and leave the dog at home.

why hold a grudge against a dog???why cant you just ignore the dog at least for your friends sake because your friend must love this dog....life is too short to sit around hating a dog....ignore it, or find a new friend that doesnt have a dog :)

just try to pet it and get to know it. maybe it is pissing you off because it senses you not liking it. i'm not saying to like it. i'm saying to just see its response after you pet him. give him a biscuit or buy him a toy and hopefully its curiousity with it will get him to be soo absorbed that it stops bothering you. he just wants a friend to play with. and please stop kicking the poor dog...if you kick him he gets more nervous and pisses on the floor.

If you can't stand your friend's dog, then, stop going over her house.... DUHHH!!

He knows that you don't like him, and that's why he misbehaves even more than before.
It's never okay to kick a dog, not even lightly!

Talk to it with authority. Tell him NO!! Don't scream at him, just speak to him with a stern tone and he will rollover for you. Good luck.
