Does anyone know any symptoms of a female pomeranian about to start her mentrual cycle for the first time? Mine has been sleeping alot and acting lethargic. I am worried but she has also been humping her stuffed animal and trying to play with our male German Shepard. She will be a year old this month. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, likely she is about to have her first heat cycle. But, at a year old, thats somewhat late. Are you sure this is her first? Small Poms have such light heats, that you literally could not be aware if she is sufficiently secluded from males.
If you are concerned about her sleeping and being lethargic, a vet evaluation may be in order.
If your German Shepherd has not been neutered, this is a very dangerous situation. He could kill her in the process of trying to mate with her.

I merely were given a cream colored pomeranian domestic dog. She is cute and intensely well tempered! a million. execs of the breed: -they're extremely lovable -they're extremely fluffy -they are going to make you melt -great tempered -unswerving spouse 2.Cons of the breed -they prefer to be educated from a very youthful age so that they are going to study straight away -they don't understand how small they actully are so each so often they could act slightly dominant -they could furnish you with each so often alittle extra artwork 3. Are they energetic? All small canines get drained extremely straight away, inspite of the indisputable fact that a walk to the park is each of the pastime that desire! 4.Feeding: they are going to favor to be feed atleast once of two times an afternoon. merely so that they don't look to be hungry and to also get the food they prefer. i have really had my pomeranian for per week, inspite of the indisputable fact that I easily have loved each 2d that I spend such as her. you've picked an excellant breed of canines. And the cutest you will get! i wish this allows!! :)

How come she is not spayed? It will give her a healthier and longer life. This way you don't have to worry about any issues associated with heats.
