If this is his first set of shots then he will need the distemper, adenovirus 2, hepatitus, parainfluenza, parvo and corona shot (it is all in 1 combination shot) some vets call is DA2P, some DHLPP.. either way its the same thing. You will need to get 3 sets of these shots all 3-4 weeks apart. At the 3rd set the dog will recieve his rabies vaccination and it will be a yearly visit after that!

It needs to be taken to the vet and have it's shot's and a lots of love and attention. I have an 8 week old Boston Terrier and she has had her six week shots, but I am taking her to my vet next week to have them check her out. Puppy's are fun but damn they are allot of work, it's just like having a new born baby.

Against which diseases should puppies be vaccinated?
The AVMA Council on Biologic and Therapeutic Agents' Report on Dog Vaccines has recommneded that the core vaccines for dogs include distemper, canine adenovirus-2 (hepatitis and respiratory disease), and canine parvovirus-2.
Noncore vaccines include leptospirosis, coronavirus, canine parainfluenza and Bordetella bronchiseptica (both are causes of 'kennel cough'), and Borrelia burgdorferi (causes Lyme Disease). Consult with your veterinarian to select the proper vaccines for your puppy.

Maybe worm shots...acne may appear on it's face, it will look like a black mole, or pink, so ask your vet about that, it happened to my German Sherherd when he was a puppy...

my pup just got his shots too.
several of them.
if you dont have much money, i recommend getting pet insurance.
it is really inexpensive compared to the price w/o it.
