One of my chickens, she looks like a vulture, but I don't exactly know what kind of chicken she is, :-)
Well she just started acting all Odd, she weighed like NoThinG for a Long time, now she weighs a little, but she can't Walk!

She has trouble bringing herself up, I can pick her up and she can stand, somewhat, but I have to transport her from the nest to outside and back, all she does outside is sit anyways, at least when i'm looking ;-)

Oh, also, before she seemed to be like gagging :'( and she couldn't bring her head down without liquid coming out of her throat, but that was when she weighed so light,

now she is heavier, but the problem is that she wakes up in the morning and doesn't get out of her nest then when i come
home i either find her in the nest or she got outside, but she is in a very odd position that she can't get up from,

she fell or something, but then I help her up, it's even hard for me getting her up and all , Please help me,Thanks so much guys!

This bird (we think its a female cardinal) comes to my porch window and sits in a bush up against it. Then it flies into the window and lands back on the bush. This repeats over and over again for about an hour. It now started doing it to other windows on our house.

We do not want to get rid of the bird; we like birds and have a pet parakeet. What type of food can we give it to keep it satisfied? What if we opened a window one day? It sure seems like it wants inside!

Is it normal for my bird to do unusually large turds in the morning? He always poops when he's held, and rarely in his cage. He is a very cool (with the sunglasses) conure

when we got our chicken it had a medal "nose ring" to keep it from pecking other chickens. Now the bottom part is a lot longer than the top and she has trouble eating. Is it okay to trim the bottom beak and if so how would it be done?

My Mom is thinking about getting a mini citrus tree to put on our balcony. I was told it would probably attract sparrows(or finches) Anyone ever done this before?

I know hanging plants attract Turtle doves but is there anything that would attract birds into nesting on my balcony?

the following birds that live near me are:

Pigeons

Turtle doves

Black birds

Sparrows

Grackles

I usually see these on a reular basis, I also read some guy on his site found a bird nest in a flower pot on a potted plant shelf outside.

The girl who gave her up used to be home all the time & I think she's become spoiled by this. After the girl went to work the screaming started. I don't want too give her up but i don't want to be disturbing my neighbors either. The only thing that stops her is if I cover her & I won't do that all the time I have 4 other birds & when i'm home the cages are always left open, I don't believe in caging animals of any kind. I close them when I'm away for their own safety. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated! I've tried everything I know how & she's just not giving in much. Thank You for all suggestions!!

I once made a homemade incubatior using the following:

large plastic container with lid

heating pad

a clean tuna can with water(for humidity)

towels

I tested it out and it worked great(I HAVEN'T used it on a fertile egg, though)

But which do ya think would owrk better, the homemade incubator I tried out or an ajustable desklamp?

Ok, someone told me to put ten eggs under her. I've went and done that and now I'm wondering if I will have to keep her and her chicks seperated from the other hens and rooster?
I don't want them to hurt the baby chicks. Guess you can tell this is my first time ;(. I did try putting a new chicken in with the old and they tried to kill her. I don't want the same thing happening with the babies.
