I'm looking for bird products in Johor. However, the pet shops i visit seriously lack of bird products and accessories. Any good places to buy them? btw, anyone knows who is the best vet here in JB?

My budgie Ocean has not been well for a little while. i took him to the vet on Friday (he had very wet poops that were an odd green colour, and extremely puffed chest, fluffing his feathers and sleeping allot, drinking ridiculous amounts, and not eating very well) The Vet said that he has Air Saculitis/Pneumonia. he is on antibiotics, (which are working) but I am wondering if there is anything else that I can do to help him get better.

he is drinking well, and staring to eat better. he seems perkier too ( which is good)

Thanks

My family just got a Quaker parrot a week ago and we've had a daschund for almost 2 years.

The dog will not leave the bird alone. She is always watching the bird.

How do I get her (in a non-violent manner) to leave the bird alone?

I've been using a .177 pellet gun to shoot them, but that requires me staying up at night! Perhaps De-Con is the way??

Ok, haha this is a funny one but, My friend has a cardinal that every morning hits his window. Is the reason like the window commercials where the windows are really clean and someone or something bumps into it? Every morning you can hear a knocking at their window. They dont do anything to their window. Why does it do this?

What size should the opening be in my chicken coop for my chickens? They will be large chickens, specifically a buff orpington, barred rock, and rhode island red.

People say they hear him all over, and we try calling him, but he's a baby and scared most of the time, so I figure he wouldn't come (only call) when I whistle for him. He also flies, which is how he got away when the door was open. It has been a week, and we keep trying to find him everyday.

My question is, what should I do to find him? We call him, put his cage and food outside on the roof, play tapes calling him at dusk and dawn, and have put up signs with a reward and his picture on them. I've already tried to see in other people's lawns, but they called the cops so I got in trouble for trespassing, and now I can't look in their yards for him, which makes finding him impossible since I Iive in a community of homes. Does anyone have any really good suggestions for finding him?

Thanks in advance!

he only seems to be sleeping, not eating or drinking. I have a pet health guarantee, and will be taking him to the vet tomorrow or tuesday to get him checked out.

I recently put a hanging basket with a leafy plant on my balcony. A few mornings ago, I noticed that a couple of birds were perched in it, so I took the basket down and took out the nest they were building and put it back after a few days. This morning, I found them rebuilding the nest and my dad pointed out that they were doves. He said that it should be ok because they are very peaceful animals and they won't get defensive of their nest, regardless of whether or not they have younglings. Is this true? I like the idea of having some doves nesting on my balcony, but not if they'll be defensive. Could anyone help me out? (no offense, but please only answer if you know what you're talking about.)

Oh, and if it helps, I think these are mourning doves. I just can't seem to find anything about their nesting habits. Thank you!

I have to seperate them because they will fight to the death. I was given these because my uncle had to get rid of them.He lived in California and had no room in his yard and i live in Arizona.I have 21/2 acre land so i have the space. I just wanted to know if its illegal to own if you don't fight them?
