well the bible said god put ANIMALS on earth, not eggs! so i believe the chicken came first!!!

The egg. The modern chicken was a result of evolution and selective breeding. The first "real" chicken to be born came from an egg! And as for crossing the road, there are several plausible answers: searching for food, running from prey, looking for shelter... maybe just stretching its legs!

The chicken because how would the egg have been kept warm in order to hatch. If you believe chickens evolved into their present state there would have had to have been the chicken or bird first. Besides what would have laid the egg and protected it from being eaten.

the egg! dinosaurs laid eggs, the question never said it had to be a chicken egg! (if it has to be a chicken egg then the chicken came first because whatever created is cant of been a chicken)

I don't think the chicken even knew he was crossing the road. I'd say he crossed the road because he had nothing better to do =/

the chicken and rooster, God put things here in pairs so they could procreate. Hence the egg came second
