So I'm wondering, how long have you been working out?
Do you do exclusively cardio or weight training, or something else, or a combo?
For how long every day?
If you lift, high reps or high weight?
Ever gone any significant time since starting without working out?
Wear and tear on your body - how do you feel generally, especially your joints and back?
Do you ever feel like you're wearing your body out by working out and you'd last longer if you didn't do it at all, or not much?

My friend had suffered from bulimia in high school (or so she has claimed), but has since 'recovered' in college. Now, she eats so much! Seriously, a couple of times she's eaten 15 pot stickers and a BIG (we're talking soup bowl) helping of friend rice. When one of our other room mates commented on it, she went flying off the handle about how she doesn't want to share her food. She bakes cakes and eats half of them in a sitting, and eats out almost every other day. If she was a stick (like room mate #1) or ran 30 miles a week (like me--I'm training for a triathlon, so she's not alone--I eat a ton too), I suppose it wouldn't bother us. But she eats a lot, and then she has the nerve to lecture US about eating healthy! She made a comment to me about how I spend too much on food per term (about $380 for 10 weeks: she 'claimed' she spent $130 for the same time!), and to our other friend that she's only eating 1200 calories a day! She's gained a ton of weight, she's in denial what can we do?

im 21 yrs old and im 5ft 7in and weigh 115 pounds. i work an 8 hour job that makes me walk at least 3 miles or more each day. i only eat 2 meals a day (around 400-500 calories total) one at lunch (around 11:30am -12:20am) and then after work(5pm). I know it's not enough cuz i sometimes feel a little exhausted throughout the day. im not trying to lose weight or anything but how many calories do i need to stay healthy and get me through the day?

I've always wondered when people lose wieght I know your fat disapears and is turned into energy, but whatever happens to all that skin? It seems like it just shrinks.

I'm 5'2" and over 130 lb. Is that bad? I don't mind that I look bigger, but from a health stand point? I was just wondering.

Yet I am also the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. Why does society try to make me feel like I should be miserable, when all I am is happy?

I am aware that low calorie dieting and exercise are crucial, but would going through with a fat-burning body wrap procedure do anything good? Or are the results only temporary? And are there any negative health effects to doing this? If you have a personal story or experience with them, please share! Thanks!

I like soup for lunch but I'm worried it might be worse to eat a lot of soup than better.

Will I loose weight if I were to fasting and excercise at the same time?

I know what kinds of exercises I would do (biking, running, dancing), but my mother has knees problems and she also fractured her ankle last year, so she needs to be careful.

What kind of exercises can she do to lose weight? (She can't swim btw.) Thanks!

Recent study says that people who are "chubby" tend to be more naturally healthy and have a better chance of living longer then skinny or obese people.
When most girls post a question about losing weight and saying they wanna be healthy, is it that they just say that to cover the fact that they mite be concious about their image regardless of their health?

For the next 4-6 months i'd be running in temp as low as -10. Can anyone give me a plan on getting ready for this? I need to keep my pace of 14 min in two miles.
