iv recently split with my bf, ive been 2days without any food wat so ever and have jus started eatin agen but its only something small like a chocolate bar or a mini sausause roll, this lasts me the whole day, im drinkin alot of tea aswell.
i feel really sick in the mornings aswell (and no im not pregnant)
please help!

Like a lot of people over 50, my tummy extends out a bit. I'm 20 pounds overweight. I'm 150 pounds and should be 130 pounds. Does sucking one's gut in help one loose weight or at least slim the tummy area a bit? I also do moderate exercising. I've heard of this, but I'm unsure if it is just an old-wives tale? Thanks for any response!!

I mean, there are so many stupid diet books and products people buy, so many stupid questions asked on here about losing weight, it's just frustrating.

The simple principle is net calorie intake. Take in more calories than you burn, you gain weight. Burn more calories than you eat, you lose weight. Exercise more to burn more calories. Eat less to take in less calories.

Simple formula:

C - E = N

Where C is your calorie intake, E is your calorie consumption, and N is your net calorie level at the end of the day. Obviously, if E is bigger than C, N will be positive, meaning you have excess calories for that day. And if E is bigger than C, N will be negative, meaning that you will have a calorie deficiency for that day. End up with a positive N, those calories will mostly be stored as fat in your body. End up with a negative N, your body takes calories stored in your body (mostly fat) for energy.

I'm just at a loss as to why this simple concept eludes so many people.

I am not looking to lose weight, I just feel that I should start eating healthy. I eat a lot of junk food. Working in a grocery store, I notice that all the healthier foods cost a LOT more than the not healthy foods.

How are people expected to eat stuff with like, less sodium, less fat, etc if they can't afford it?
What are some healthy foods that don't cost an arm and a leg?

I've gained about 10 lbs or so over the past few months. Which is good for me because I weighed like 90lbs. I've been noticing my boobs are actually getting bigger (yay), but I don't want to get a nasty stomach. So far it looks fine, but if I start to not like it, can I do situps and only loose the fat from my stomach. I'm just afraid if I work out my stomach that I could loose my boobs, and I def don't want to do that since I just got them! haha. What do you think?

i am 33 year old, 312 pounds, 6'1 tall. Last year i lost 60 -70 pounds i was about 360. I gain several pounds back. I noticed i'm not losing the weight like i was last year. its been three weeks now, i get on the treadmill Monday, Tuesday, weds, thursday and Sunday for about 45 minutes, Incline 5.0 and speed is 3.3. Does anyone have any advice ? Thanks

I want to lose some weight before Christmas because I am almost positive i will get clothes and i wanna look better cuz all my family is coming.

what should i eat, what shouldn't i eat.

I can't spend money on excersize equipment or plans.
I have some little weights(2, 3, 5).

I am mostly concerned about my tummy and love handle areas.

My parents don't let my skip meals.

A guy my friend works with doesn't eat at all, & he's pale & yellow/jaundice-looking & very skinny & vomits everything he eats. You can see his skeleton & his lips are a bluish-purplish color & he's always weak & fainting. He makes an excuse not to eat food, like he doesn't eat carbs, salt, sugar, fat, or nothing. He'll only eat fresh, green veggies & lean beef or turkey. He doesn't eat breakfast but lately he hasn't been eating anything. He went to the hospital & they diagnosed him with anorexia nervosa & some other illness. My friends & I want to know if yellow/jaundice is a symptom of anorexia or another illness.

I know water is essential to the body. But food is sort-of a cloudy situation because the reason we eat food is for the nutrients and such. Is it the fact that we just need some matter in our stomachs? Or is it the fact of no nutrition being digested that causes starvation? Would you be able to survive on a deserted island with Centrum® or Flintstones Vitamins® as long as you have water as well?

What is the best cardio exercise to do on a bike. My stationary bicycle is a Life Cycle 4500. It goes from level 0 to 12. I've been reading that it is better to do shorter workouts but harder because it helps burn calories for longer so you'll lose fat quicker. So if I wanted to do that what levels should I be using and how long should I be doing the workout. (I also do resistance training every other day for strength)
