I have been both...I got alot more attention thin and I don't like that my clothes don't fit the way that I did when I was twenty something. But I have grown up and accepted reality. I will never be one of those girls on the cover of Vogue...big deal I am happy. If your thinness goals are lofty, then be prepared for shallow minded people and a never ending displeasure with your body..because someone is always going to be thinner and prettier than you.

Thin. For myself and for men.
I've gained a lot of weight the past two years, intentionally because everyone was telling me I was too thin. Now I'm not fat just a bit overweight, but miserable. I do know some fat people who are happy and good for them, but maybe I'm just happier being thin.
As for men, I'm attracted to thin men but majority of my boyfriends have been on the chubby side.

Thin. What did you expect.
Its like asking if you would prefer to have a nice day or be in a car accident.

i prefer a person who is fit and is able to take care of their bodies but is not a fitness freak. i like someone who can go to the gym maybe once a week and have a good work out to maintain their weight and be healthy. But i don't want someone who doesn't eat junk food at all, i prefer them to be able to eat junk food but in moderation. but sometimes some people who are a little chubby is very cute. skinny and scrawny is a no.

I am too thin and trying to gain. I like a man taller and not fat..but, on the heavy side. I'm really tall, and it makes me feel
more feminine to have a larger man around.

I (and you should) prefer neither. Each person is so different in their own healthy body habitus. A little extra pounds will be more healthy for some folks in their ability to fight disease than for others. A little underweight for some may be more healthy for those who have high demand jobs. And so on, and so on......... Each person should assess his/her own life demands and situations to determine what weight and exercise is best for him/her. No one's ideal is the same for anyone else. But most important-----do not let anyone else determine what you should be.........only you can do that.
