I had a back surgery in January, 06. Lumbar disk 5 was herniated and part of it was removed. 1 month and a half ago I began having strong back pains like a pulled muscle. I had bi-lateral sacrilliac joint injections about 4 wks. ago. Now I'm having constant pain in glut area, calf and numbness in bottom of foot. What could this be?

because I have a twin and we both need them well i am on my own now i don't want to feel like i am missing out on oppurtunities because of my appearance don't get me wrong I think i am doing fine now because i have a great personality, and a good attitude i have a good job and two kids but i won't be as discourage if my teeth are better i went last year to see the orthodontist paid my down payment but at the time i couldn't afford the monthly payments i'll be 24 in february when i get them and have to wear them for 2 1/2 years my question is how does this affect the adult life having to wear braces so late in life? and how long will it take my teeth to start straightening out?

Im really nervous about discussing this with my doctor so just kinda wanna make sure its worth bringing up. My symptoms are
1) not wanting to go to parties, rather stay home by myself
2) Avoiding certin places ie_ public washrooms, hate going to the movie theaters , get very nervous in malls becuase of the people
3) Don't disscus things in classes, hate doing presentations get all sweaty, heartrate goes up, and i stutter becuase i become so nervous

Those are some of the symptoms i have, i do suffer from panic attacks and am on adivan. Should i talk to my doctor???

Please help make me calm

And it's not because I am hungry, I know that for a fact. This happens to me constantly, and it is disrupting my life because I am always so preoccupied with trying to keep my stomach from grumbling. This started to happen a few years ago. And it is uncomfortable, I can feel my stomach twisting around, and then it grumbles very loudly. It's embarassing and I hate it. Is there any way to make it stop? Should I see my doctor?

One day I won't feel the desire to eat anything and I won't be hungry all day; I will just forget about eating and the next I will be so hungry and not miss a meal, I'll just feel like I want to eat everything. Why is this? I also can't get out of the habit of a " midnight snack " everynight. I'm not overweight, I'm 5'3 and I weigh 140 lbs. I just would like to shed a few pounds and I would like to know what's going on with my appetite. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I have an awful cough. I havn't slept well for the past 3 nights. I've tired Nyquil and another kind of cough medicine but nothing is working well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm hoping to feel at least a little better by new years tonight.
