my fiancee's mother took alkaseltzer ALOT during her pregnancy with him and I was just wondering if that could cause birth defects, such as heart problems.

I found them on the internet and just wondering if anyone knows anything about them. I really just need to know if they work or not. I'm not fat, weight loss doesnt help, surgery is not a option for me my insurance denied me, and please dont tell me to have kids to lose my boobs...i have 2 and they stayed the same size. If you dont have anything nice to say or not willing to help me please dont leave a comment. This is a sensitive subject for me, and i just want some help. and yes i wear the right size bra. 36 F.

I heard a radio ad about social anxiety disorder and I have all of the "symptoms" but I've always thought that I was just introverted and it seems to me that maybe it's just a ploy to get people to buy whatever drug that is and not a real disorder.. has anybody taken these meds? Do they work? Is it a real disorder?

Here's the deal, I asked a couple of questions related to my daughter's health and I get looked at like some kind of pedophile. Why is it a father cannot take care of his kid's and be praised for it. Why is it considered unacceptable for a dad taking care of his kids to if necessary see their private parts, but perfectly ok for the mom to do it. What are single dad's supposed to do in this scenario? Why is it if a female goes to a male doctor a female nurse is present, but if a male goes to a female doctor they are left alone? If something happens to your kid that is the opposite sex than you or they have to be examined for anything and noone else of the same sex is available, are you just supposed to wait outside while a person you don't really know tends to them, or are you supposed to do your job and stay with your kid no matter what? I'm just so fed up with our society and thinking all males are perv's or have bad motives. How can a father rasie his kids this way?

I'm 16. 5'9.I want to be like 5'11.

I know genetics will limit how tall you are.Although my dad is 5'8 and my mom is 5'7ish,but my sister who's six years older than me is 5'11.So if she can be 5'11 so can I right?

Is there any correlation between exercising and height growth?Or is it strictly based upon genetics and/or healthy diet?

My husband wants me to see a doctor about worrying too much. I think that is silly. What do you think?
Although I wonder b/c I do worry quite alot and sometimes I get really stressed about things that haven't happened yet and are most likely not gonna happen. Sometimes it even takes me hours to fall asleep b/c my mind is full. I'm scared to drive by myself out side of my city and I get extremely nervous when someone else is driving the vehicle (besides my husband.) My three year old has never spent the night anywhere and berely ever spends a day away from us b/c I'm worried something is going to happen to her. I also have terrible axiety during storms and actually go into "fight or flight" when a tornado watch or siren goes off in my area.
I understand the storm thing is just anxiety but what is the rest of it? Does anyone else worry like this. I know the Bible says not to worry but I can't stop. What can I do?

I see this all the time - person goes to doctor and says they are depressed so the doc gives them Paxil or Zoloft and sends them on their way with a handfull of pills. Three weeks later they are suicidal or worse. Shouldn't they be stopped from prescribing and treating illnesses that they have no knowledge of?

I got my tongue pierced four days ago and its not really swollen like my tongue is so big as much as that in front of my barbell on the top of my tongue it is really hard and I guess it kinda is swollen because my ball is engraved in my tongue like normal. I have been taking advil and doing all the things my piercer said to do. Is this normal? When will it go down? I am just wondering because every morning I wake up hoping the hard patch is gone but it is still there. Please help, I am not up for anyone saying how stupid I was to do this or how sick it is. I know I probably will get those responses but hopefully some experienced person can tell me whats wrong. Thanks.
