I have a disability and after about three hours I have get up out of this chair becasue of the pain in my back gets moderate. Sometimes my scrotum goes numb sitting too long.. My life with a disability is miserable and somehow Yahoo helped me cope, but there's more to my life than this computer and I battle it every, single day!

It has been happening for a few months but I didnt think it was serious. One eye, usually the right but sometimes left goes very red and bloodshot. It doesnt hurt, but I do look a bit scary. Why do you think this is? How can I get rid of it? I tried taking anti inflammatories but t didnt really help, also I would rather take alternative medicine, any ideas?

My cousin is 17, and she's extremely self-conscious because of her skin. She's tried ALOT of products; most of the over-the-counter stuff, Proactiv, Murad, Black Soap; but nothing seems to help.

I take care of her now, and i see first hand the effects this has on her self-esteem, so I've decided to take her to a Dermatologist. I've tried to research which procedure would be best, but to figure that out, I need to know exactly what she has.

So my question is, what exactly, is the problem? I mean what are all the spots on her face? Skin discolaration, acne scarring... ? Im pretty ignorant, I've never had acne, but i really want to help her.

Been lifting and working out for a few months and have seen little results. had history of anorexia but have overcome that. but, it has left me with a poor sense of what I should eat, when I should eat it to promote muscle gain. any suggestions or pointers....even direct me to a webste.

I accidentely touched my face with gloves and oil while at work and broke out with the worst case of contact dermatitis. It went away after two weeks but I would liike to prevent that. Along with not touching my face anymore I was wondering if there was a lotion or cream to protect the skin for a few hours? Any advice would be great.

I took my friend to the ER for a infection in a tooth that has spread into her ear.She has no heath insurance and is not able to work due to some health issues.They got us into the treatment room and was going to give her something and he said oh I see u have no insurance so you will have to pay $130.00 up front. Since she has no money or insurance they just told her they could not treat her. Something about a new law and the hospitals in Fl were doing that. I never heard of such a thing and if it's true what a shame our health care is coming to this. Since when can a hospitla deny health care? It's not like she goes to the ER every week. She does not go there very often and when she goes in for extreme pain they turn her away.....Im angry about this and feel this is just wrong.

Hello, everyday I have been worrying about getting a hearth attack, a stroke, or a deadly disease. Before I never started to worry about my health but after I notice a blister in my genitals, I started to look for information and for cures and I contacted my doctor. I found out it was nothing but still the worry about the rest of body it came out like an avalanch. What should I do I tested my blood for hearth condition everything is fine, I just cant get this tought of my mind that something very bad will happen to me at any moment? I have not experience any panic attack but sometimes I worry about every little pain about my body and I immideatly think that is something that will grow bigger and bigger and bigger and I will just die, please help. What should I do?

my sister was on a long flight sunday and suffered the common "bloatedness" in her gut, which led to sharp attacks of wind. upon getting home and going to the toilet, she told me she has been excreting what appears to be water. she hears drops in the water and there is nothing there, so it has to be water. should she consult a doctor about this or is it just the gut clearing itself out?

I am recovering from a chronic illness and have been doing a lot of cardio. I jog 3-4 times a week and do tennis training 2-3 times (I loathe weight training). If I gain weight slowly with healthy foods while continuing to exercise daily, will I see an increase in muscle eventually?

I always have to be in warmth, & this is wierd because I grew up in New Jersey. I currently attend school in New Orleans and love it because of its beautiful weather. Just about a year ago, I noticed the problem. I always turn the heat up high even if its not that cold outside. It just feels good to me. I also am diagnosed as Anemic..so i'm thinking that could be the problem. My roommate is studying pharmacy and wants to test me for Diabetes. Could that also be a possibility.
Also-If its cold in a room I can't concentrate or don't want to do anything but lay in the bed under my blankets..and i wear hoodies even if its like 70 degrees outside. I hate cold/cool weather!

In order to better understand the psyche of the smoker, I would like to hear from people who had successfully quit smoking and then started back. There is a lot that can be learned from your input.

In my experience, there are two main reasons that people go back to smoking

1) They do not appreciate that this is a true addiction and think that they can have "just one" cigarette (this emboldened revelation usually comes after a few drinks).

2) They are "stress smokers" and still believe that their cigarettes calm them down.



What is your experience? Do you agree? Disagree? What can others learn from your mistakes?
