dont worry i dont think your going to die well i hope not your more than likely stressed out and have a lot on your mind thats bothering you if you can talk to someone about your feelings you may put your dreams to rest

To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life
To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Dreams are more about how you feel than the events in the dream. If you are afraid it may be projected anxiety from something else. If you are calm it may that you are depressed. you are obviously concerned about the dream. I don't think it means you will die.

You are very insecure right now for whatever reason..you don't want to die, but you are fearing it...you need to get God and Jesus into your life, and you will know that you have angels watching over you and the dreams will go away

I'd agree with the first two answers already given. You are probably dreading something coming up this year - any special events on the horizon? big changes? By dying you would escape them - so your unconscious is indicating. HOwever, of course, it IS NOT a premonition - just an indication of your stress and fear.
Hope you are able to identify your fears - they say it's good to confront the dragons (fears) - to name them is to take some of the power from them. It will also help you to start the process of overcoming them.

I agree with louisesp, it means a death a part of you that is no longer needed in your life, it's a good dream, something dying to give way for a new part in you.

Consider the different areas of your life - are you in the middle of a major change in relationships (ie about to get married, about to have a baby) or are you considering changing your career this year? These dreams are just showing you that you are moving from one stage of life to another - your old stage is 'dying' and you are being reborn.

ive was having them dreams for about 12 years or so and im still here.its just when something big is gonna happen that you have planned,something on your mind.i went to see a counsillor and got all my worries out in the open then i was fine after that.

my grandmother always said that if you dream of your own death you are going to have a baby, or that your girlfriend is going to have a baby. its an old wives tale, depends on whether or not you believe in that stuff...but death is supposed to mean babies and babies are supposed to mean death (creepy..but i dreamt i had a baby the night my dad died of a massive coronary)
