I've been through all of the steroid sprays etc. which cause more problems then they solve. I have suffered so much from remedies that I no longer trust mainstream doctors. Yet, every night I suffer this terrible pain that wakes me up. I can do a little back bend to alleviate it. Drinking water helps. If it gets too bad I do take a Tylenol. I use my neti pot every night, but it just doesn't reach this deep painful spasm that occurs in my chest every night. I went to a cardiologist, but he had no clue, even after some dreadful radioactive test. He just tried to sell me "super bowl" statins. He did say that my blood oxygen was low because of the asthma. Has anyone experienced this and found a remedy, that does not involve dangerous pharmaceutacals?

After smoking some marijuana i wanted to test myself as to how much pain I can handle. And well I found I can handle pretty much any amount of pain because I am able to convince myself the pain feels good and I enjoy its increasing intensity. The only thing that stops me from continuing is the thought of my skin boiling. Is this a problem?Should I encourage it with non-lethal methods? If so which? Do I need help?

I can walk this pain off but as soon as I stop again for any length of time, it comes back. Has anyone ever had this or heard of this before? I appreciate your help.

I've been drinking milk since I was very young (im currently a teenager). But for almost 3 months or so, I stopped drinking because I tend to forget it whenever my family goes to the grocery store. 2 weeks ago, I had an infection (cold, cough, slight fever, etc.) and my mom said this can also contribute to the aching of muscles etc.

I get random (lasts for about 5 seconds or so) shooting pains in my arm, legs (it's not really painful though, I'm just concerned about it). Also, my muscles twitch randomly.

I don't have any other symptoms that I know of. Otherwise, I'm generally ok.

Thanks!

The rickets has severely affected my legs and I have had several corrective surgeries, which as a result have left my legs quite weak, and also affected my back so that whenever I walk (I can walk without crutches but very difficult) with or without crutches, it always hurts my back. I can also not walk very far at all even if I use my crutches, so mostly go out in my wheelchair. Is there any thing I can do to help my back pain and also to help strengthen my legs?

(BTW, extra information, I cant sit on the floor, cannot fold my legs completely and do not have complete movement in my legs. Rickets also have affected my hands and arms. And the rickets + kidney failure means I am also generally quite weak physically)

(Sorry not sure where to post this question so have put it here)

I remember I went to the ER for a stomach ache I had for a few days. They thought it might be appendicitis, whatever... they did tests and such.

The doctor was female, very soft tone voiced, compassionate... a real puppy/kittens person, also quite attractive if I may add. Anyways! She came into the room with a syringe and I got nervous. She said it's morphine. I asked if that was overkill, all I had was a stomach ache. she injected my I.V with it, and said "Well, now you don't" and smiled.

I always found doctors that would rather comfort their patients then cure them intriguing. Priority wise of course, all doctors look to cure their patients.

Do you guys think that was necessary?

I don't know how young you can be to develop arthritis but my knees and joints are almost always in pain.
When I sit I have to stretch my knees out or they'll start hurting, whenever my finger joints hurt I just start playing piano to keep my mind off it.
I'm anemic and have EDNOS so i'm not in the best of health.
I guess I can see why I might develop something else since i'm already a weak person without good nutrition.
My question is basically what it says...can anemia (and an eating disorder) also lead to arthritis?

My lower back has been uncomfortably sore for over a week. It feels like intense muscle soreness (like after a hard workout, which is how I think it started). I've tried getting lots of sleep, static stretching, asprin, massage, and complaining.
