What type of doctor should I go see for the shingles? I've gone to my GP, and I'm beginning to believe he's a total quack for many reasons, which I won't go into b/c I've already gotten tons of answers on another question on those issues. Anyway, is there a specific type of specialist in which I should see?

My doc is switching me to oxycontin 40mg twice A day, Instead of me taking 20mg Of Percocet every six hours.

When You first started oxycontin, did you get "Loopy" or "High" when you started?

Im Asking this because when I first started percocet I was always out of it, and now I got switched to oxycontin, and im wondering if I have to get used to it like I had to get used to the percocet's. It only took my 3 days to get used to the percocet and t get rid of that "Loopy" feeling, but I just want to know if Oxycontin will do the same.

Since 9am today until now, midnight, I have been having a stomach pain that will come and go. When it comes, I feel a little nausea, meanwhile feeling like my abdomen is sore. If I am sitting then I stand, it begins to hurt again. And vice-versa. Food will make it hurt again but it goes away quickly. Meanwhile, being hungry makes it hurt as well. WHAT is going on? It's very uncomfortable and crampy. But unlike menstrual cramps. Is this something my body will take care of itself, or should I seek medical attention? I've just been eating lightly and drinking ginger tea to sooth my stomach.

I have had nuerological surgery on my c3 and c4 fussion 3 years ago and a lower disc out. Is this something seperate or related.. Whenever I go out in the cold I get muscle spasms in my legs and sometimes it bothers my shoulder and neck till I tense up and get a migrane for a few minutes. I go to the pain management doctor this week.

My husband has been having chronic lumbar pain for about a month now and has been in and out of not only the doctors office, but also the emergency room. He's missed a lot of work, and could now possibly lose his job. He is a chef and woks in a kitchen 40+ hrs a week. He's been perscribed Flexeril 10mg, Vicodin 500mg and 750mg, Motrin 800, Tramdol 50mg, and Robaxin 750mg. Im starting to get worried that this is going to hurt his body more, seeing as how it doesnt help much. He has recently had a nerve test done, but the results just show mild pain. He's at the point where he'd rather be paralyzed than in this kind of pain. The doctors wont give him a MRI (if that would even help). Im wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms and if so, what was the outcome? What steps should we be taking?

I get cramps a lot(i guess because most of the time its when I sit om my legs that I get cramps), but anyways, that intense shooting pain I get, is there something I can do like rub it or something to make the crap go away faster?

About 1 1/2 years ago I did something to my thigh. I'm not even sure what I did to it exactly. But basically, it is still not better. I'm a dancer, so stretch is very important, but it's like my left hamstring will not stretch at all. I've gotten an MRI and thay couldn't find anything. The pain is really really bad. I take excedrin and it sometimes helps, but never completely relieves the pain. My parents think I'm just doing it for the attention, so they won't take me back to the doctor or anything

I took two paracetamols at 11am this morning, and am going to a party at around 8pm, and it's likely that I'll get very drunk.

Is this dangerous, or is 9hours an ok time since taking paracetamol to drinking?

i have this bad pain in the right side fo my stomach its on the sides going back (groins) where the kdneys are kinda i went to the doctors they did a urine dip stick test and said it was normal and gave me tablets. the pain comes and goes and its only on the right side. lyk under my ribs on that side.15 yrs old

my mom's appendix ruptured 3 days ago, poop pushed threw it and it made a hole in it and it knocked it off her intentines to the other side of her body and it ruptured
they took it out and cleaned out her body but its 3 days later and she is ins SO much pain!!!!!!i
she still has an infection and a fever is this normal? is she going to be okay?

I have been having pressure in the sinus area of my head, even after being treated for a sinus infection. Now I also get shape or dull pressure pain in the lower back of my head. Right where the skull ends. It's very stong and uncomfortable. Any advice on what it might be?
