i had a kidney stone once. I had tablets and was told i would either pass it thru my urine or have to have n op to have it removed. I drank water as if my life depended on it and eventually I passed it. Kidney stones cause so much pain but are reletively small. Didnt even know id passed it until i had no more pain!

It means that you pass a stone made of minerals through your kidneys, down the ureter, and eventually out of the bladder. The most painful part is when the stone passes from the kidney to the ureter. I have seen that pain make strong men keel over and start crying.
The mineral deposit that is a kidney stone has a million microscopic spines on it. Those spines cut anything that they touch, which is very painful on internal organs.

It means that a stone which was in your kidney descended through your ureter, into your bladder and then on into your urethra, and from there on it.
FYI, passing the stone doesn't necessarily hurt. It typically hurts the most when it first comes out of the kidney.
I passed mine about a week ago and if it weren't for the black speck in the toilet and lack of symptoms, I wouldn't have known it.

passing a kidney stone means your body expells from your kidney calcim urea build up that concentrates into a fine grit becoming larger. sometimes it can be as fine as sand grains or like a small pebble. it travels down a long tubelike structure called a ureter into your bladder and is expelled out you urethra or bladder opening. your (peeing privates)they can be very painful or they can be passed and one does not know it. they vary in color, and can cause amber or blood colored urine. if very painfu, they could become lodged and have to be removed be an instrument called urethroscopy sometimes they use ultrasound . most often they wait till you pass it. males and females can get them. they may strain your urine to check if you have passed them. i have heard men can be in real agony over these .drink lots of water in contolled amounts over time and cranberry juice is a common favorite. you can also buy an over the counter urine exam to test for the presence of a urine infection at the pharmacy. get well soon.
