I have been having pressure in the sinus area of my head, even after being treated for a sinus infection. Now I also get shape or dull pressure pain in the lower back of my head. Right where the skull ends. It's very stong and uncomfortable. Any advice on what it might be?

That's your rear sinuses. You still need to be taking guafinnesin --robitussin or mucinex to thin the secretions so they'll drain and your headache will stop. You probably also to take ibuprofen 1-2 tablets every 6 hours.

Hi, I have the same problem and I'm a health science student. My lower back sometimes causes cervical spine (upper neck) pain and/or headaches. The brain and spine are part of the central nervous system, so there is a possibility that the two could be correlated. Joints that are locked up near a nerve can also cause pain throughout the spinal cord. I go to the chiropractor for my migraines and it does help. Anything could be a sign of a tumor or disease, but it sounds to me that you just have back issues. Hormonal issues (menstruation) can also cause unusual symptoms. My neck was locked up the week before my period. It hurt so badly and I could hardly move it. When I got my period it went away completely. Just something to consider. Hope this helps. R

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drugs,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.
