I have unicare and i m tolerant to painkillers and have a doctors appointment in a couple of weeks and my doctor wants to put me on avinza or something as strong and i dont have much money after bills in all was woundering if someone could help me in anyway i need to know what painkillers are covered so i could talk to my doctor about what to put me on

I recently just got over a really nasty ear infection... I was prescribed 2 pain meds and 1 antibiotic. The 2 pain meds were Naproxen and Tylenol w/codeine. Anyone who has ever taken tylenol w/codeine knows what that stuff is like. Well anyways I was prescribed tylenol 3 with codeine. I get home and take one of them and within 1 hr am feeling drowsy to the point of passing up. Now I have a 1 yr old so that isnt good.
I get a phone call from the pharmacy about 2-3 hrs later stating that they had filled my prescription wrong and it bring it back to give me the right one. Turns out someone there gave me tylenol 4 instead of 3's. Seeing as how this is a big medication error, can I sue this company?

Before answering, don't ask me why I took it. And YES, it is prescribed to me.

I took 4 mg, way more than what I needed. So I keep getting sick and I just want it out. Will it eventually get out of my system since I keep getting sick or is it already dissolved and its too late? Do I have to just wait it out?

Both of my forefingers have been hurting. Mostly the knuckle. Its off and on. Feels sore like I strained them. This morning i woke up and couldn't move one of them and it is swollen. I can only bend it about half way. If I try to use it feels like a needle is going through it. Any ideas what it could be?

Starts from left pelvic region down to inner thighs and down upto the center of my feet. Only in the left leg. I take pain killers but they are temporary reliefs and the pain resurfaces. I have also observed that due to this i have burning in urine for which i use carnberry juice. Does any one know the reason or cause for this?? anybody have the similar pain, if so what your doctor adviced? what are the remedies? I hope it doesnt turn out to be a major problem for me in the future. I dont have medical insurance hence have not seen any doctor.

I have a good friend with no insurance who won't go to the doctor, and I was wondering if anyone had input or a site where I could find input for her? Yes, I realize she should go to the doctor, but you can't make someone do something, so this was what I could offer. Any help would be much appreciated.

I pick up my RX tomorrow AM, hence the urgency on this; I need to let the drugstore know my preference! 500 mg. is the pill dosage. The pharmacist was very vague when I asked; he said "Oh, the brand (non-generic) is about twice as strong". That just doesn't sound right to me. Your help is urgently needed and my thanks in advance!

The whole day yesturday I had a lingering headache then around 8/9/10PM it hit me really bad and I knew I had a migrane. When I tried to lay down and sleep it was absoltuely horrible it hurt so bad I can't even explain it then I started throwing up from 10PM-5:30AM every 5-10 minutes I would throw up. I never get migranes ever! So i'm not sure why this happened. If i get this again can anyone give me advice what i can do to stop the vomiting and pain??

I started to feel a migraine coming last tuesday & by wednesday lunch time i had to go home sick. I was off thursday sick as well & already had friday booked off. It's now monday, i'm back in work & feel awful!! I really can't possibly go home ill again but need some relief. I've taken 2 paracetemol an hour ago which hasn't helped. I recently have feel unwell for up to 2 weeks the last couple of times i've had migraines, but just read that they should only last up to 72 hours, so is 2 weeks normal?

I am pregnant & suffering terribly with constipation. It has been about 5 days or so & on my doctors advice, I have taken Metamucil Fibrecaps & also have been drinking LITRES of water. I have an extermely sensitive palate & most greens make me gag (Always have, always will).
My question is (Excuse me for being so graphic!!!) is that my stool is actually right in my anus like when I wipe I get a bit on the toilet paper... But it is soooo painful to push & I am scared to death of pushing. It is giving me the shakes & making me dizzy. It is also affecting the way I urinate like I can't get all the urine out. Will this Metamucil ever work when the stool is obviously so far down? (If that makes sense... like it is obviously not in my bowels)
Please Help!! I'm beginning to think I will never be able to go again!!!!!!

Let me give you a brief medical history first. I am 17.
I have chronic sinusitis and have been known to suffer from migraine headaches. When I was eleven I had this really bad headache almost every day where my brain literally felt numb. We had a CT scan done and I was diagnosed with sinusitis. Last year I started seeing black spots, zig zaggy lights and pain... I was diagnosed with Migraines with an aura.
Everything has been fine until three days ago, I was talking to my friend and I got this sharp, throbbing pain on one side of my head that lasted for about six seconds then everything was back to normal. It didn't happen again to the other day and it was so bad I had to stop walking but it was gone before it really began. In the three days these sudden, painful then gone headaches have happen maybe 8 times, latest being when I got out of bed to brush my teeth this morning. What could it be?

Under my chin on the right side, along my jawline hurts really bad when I touch it. It feels similar to sore tonsils, but this isn't in the right spot for it to be my tonsils. Why does it hurt there? What could it be?

Im 17 but over the last few weeks im gettin shooting pains all over my body, mostly in my arms. Im getting really bad headaches and sharp pains in my chest i really dont think its serious because there not painfull..Thankyou

I have a large incisional hernia that I have waited a year to have repaired because of fear of a reoccurance. I read 50% of people who have incisional hernias repaired have to have them done over again. My surgeon says this percentage is cut down to 4-8% with tension free mesh repair. I am also worried that this rough scratchy feeling thing will feel uncomfortable inside of me. If you have had this done could you please let me know what your experiences have been?

It feels kind of rubbery... recently it was the right knee but increasingly its the right.... it keeps giving out and it's really painful at the sides..... it hurts most when I walk up and down stairs and when I kneel or bend my knees.
I don't think its arthritis as I'm only in my teens.... any suggestions on what it might be?

I have been getting treated for chronic migraines and chronic pelvic pain for awhile now. My doctor prescribes me Lortab 7.5 and Xanax (1 mg 3x per day) (I also have a panic disorder and have been on Xanax for 10 years). Last week, I was having a bad spell, meaning my pain was much worse, so I doubled my dose of Hydrocodone (lortab). I work in Advanced Tech Support at a Help Desk and troubleshoot high tech devices for consumers and apparantly my supervisor was told by someone I was "nodding" off and my speech was slurred and it appeared I was QUOTE "F*cked up". He took me in a conference room and told me this then asked me to leave and also bring in medical statements from my MD about my medical condition and medications. I had no problem with this and my doctor is mailing me that information but when I came back to work yesterday (supervisor wasn't there), I was told via thegrapevine, they would make me bring in pill bottles as well. Is that legal-Are my rights being infringed?
