Oh, my good god! I dunno what is wrong with my ear but I am in such extreme pain that I have been crying since 12am and it is now 5:40am mind you I am a 20yr. old woman and I am very strong usually when it comes to any sorts of pain. My left ear is pulsing inside, popping, reddened, and once in awhile gives me even more excruciating shots of pain but all in all it is a constant severe pain going on my 3rd day today. It feels like it isn't at the eardrum but more in the ear canal and the ear feels kinda full with no hearing. I can only eat liquids at the moment as whatever is happening has spread to the left side of my face making it impossible to close my back teeth together all the way and my outer ear and area just below my ear is extremely sensitive and painful as well and just a little bit swelled, I have tried antibiotic drops, non-antibiotic drops, the heating pad, tried the listerine on cotton ball trick, mineral oil, acetaminophen pain relief pills.

I have been diagnosed with FMS since2004, and still hav eyet to find anyhthing that helps releive symptoms. I have tried A few different antidepressants that are supposed to help fix the chemical imbalances to correct the sleeping patterns that are needed to heal the muscles from a hard days work. i have tried Effexor, Effexor XR, Wellbutrin, and for the pain i have tried Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Tylenol, Vicodin, and Tramadol (ultram).
The Vicodin worked but Doc's don't like prescribing it due to its addictive nature. The Ultram is okay, but doesn't take it away completley, and it is also a "black box drug" ,meaning that they don't know what the long term affects are yet. Has anyone else that has Fibro found a medicine not already listed that they would reccomend? Desperate for some releif! Thanks for your advice !

Because I need one to wear during an activity like volleyball. It has to be able to let my ankle move. I had twisted both of them a few weeks ago and my right one got better but my left one didn't. The real thing that really bothers it, is walking on the side of it a little, and I don't really realize that I do it.

I'm 16 and for the past few weeks my knees, wrists, ankles, and practically every joint in my body have been hurting. I had this pain before, which caused me to stop excercising because of the pain. Then the pain went away. So a few months later, I've started exercising again...and guess what....the pain is back. Any ideas why my joints could be hurting when I start excersing regularly? Any help is appricitated. Thanks.

my boyfriend will start truck driving school soon. I'm really worried that his back won't be able to take it. He has bulging disk in between his shoulder blades and another one in his lower back, will this affect him in the long run or short run? What I mean is will mess his back up worse?

The other day I was sitting outside with my legs crossed and my left foot went numb. No big deal, but when the numbness went away, it felt like I had bruised the outside of my foot, between my heel and pinkey toe. Mind you, I didn't do anything to bruise it, and there was no bruise. Thats just how it felt. By the evening I was limping around in pain, and the next day the pain moved to my heel. The next day to the inside if my foot, betweet my heel and big toe. Now today its back where it started at. Also, at night when I'm trying to sleep I feel this tingley numbness. Coul this have anything to do with my sciatic nerve, or not even close? I'm a bartender so its kind of a pain in the *** to be limping around, but I dont want to go waste time at the doctor for the to tell me they dont know what it is. I'd rather hear it from you guys...Thanks, hope to hear some feedback!

It is between a 1st degree and a 2nd degree. I burnt my arm on the inside of the stove door. It's the size of a deck of playing cards. I don't have money or a car so I can't go buy anything. But I need something to help it maybe something that I have here. Does anyone know anything that will work well and not make it hurt worse?

I was wearing jeans that were WAY too tight, because I didn't realize that I'd outgroown them. I wore them about 2-3 times after I outgrew them, and now the veins in my inner thigh hurt *really* badly. Is it a bad idea to rub my legs? How do I fix this? (Needless to say, I'm not gonna wear those pants anymore lol) Thanks!

I easyly throw my arm out when ever I play sports, especially baseball. After throwing my arm out I have this really sharp pain for about 2-3 days. This is a recurring injury everytime I play sports. Is there a solution so that this doesn't keep occuring when I play sports?

My dad has both of his arms go numb or tingly. He's gone to the doctors, they said he had pneumonia, then he went back again and they said he didn't have that. They did an ultrasound on him and not much became of that. I just don't understand why BOTH arms would go numb. Hes been feeling sick too.

Please don't answer if its not about this and you don't actually think you can help.

Thanks.

I have a lot of sciatic nerve pain and there is really nothing I can do medically about it right now? Anyone else living with it and able to work and have a fairly normal life? I was told to have an MRI by my doctor but my insurance won't cover it and I can't afford to take anymore debt. How do you survive it?
