Continuous ache, it hurts to take a deep breathe, I have been having other back aches, but none this bad. I am not sure what it is, i know i should talk to a doctor, but i dont know who to talk to them about. It is centered around the middle of my back, from my shoulder blades, to my small of my back and out to my sides. Now i dont wana hear any shouts telling me to go to the hospital, or any screaming of how horrible it is and ranting. i would like real facts, and logical sense. its 8pm for me my local doctor is gone, and the hospital around here is usualy very busy. im afraid though it could be a trapped nerve or pressure on a disk.

I've been expiericing some pain in my right eye now for the past 5 days.

I went to my eye doctor, he says he saw nothing wrong. He said I might have some inflammation due to wearing new contact lenses so he gave me some eye drops and sent me home.

I want to mention, I do have Multiple Sclerosis and I did suspect Optic neuritis but the eye doctor and my neurologist said they don't believe that's the issue because my vision is fine and they see no signs of it.

So I went to my PCP, she said that my eye looks ok but she sent me for a CT scan just to make sure there was nothing serious going on with my eye/behind the eye.

She told me she believes I'm suffering from Migraines, but I don't feel as if it is a migraine.

Is eye pain with movement and steady dull achy pain behind the eye common with Migraines?

Geez - I'm just sitting here working on the computer and I got such a sharp pain right under my bottom rib on the left hand side of my body. Nothing else feels wrong - no fever, no pain in my arms, etc... Just that one pain. It even hurts to try and stretch it out. What could it be?

I hit my head in January and the pain has never left. Its not a headache, or so Im told, just a pain. Its on the top of my head and feels more pressure like than anything else. It gets worse at night or when doing something strenuous. None of my doctors or neurologist know what it is. Ive had a CT scan and a MRI and both were normal. Ive also been treated for migraines and tension headaches and neither helped. Have you heard of anyone having this problem? Any suggestions on how to make it stop?

Everyone and all the literature says it shouldn't hurt at all to have it removed, but it did SO BADLY! Now I have to have another removed tomorrow and I'm scared to death. What do I do to make it hurt less? It's on a string taped to my leg and just having the string in alone hurts so much I've missed a week of work. What do I do?

It started on Thursday with just pain in the middle finger knuckle, but has now moved into both fingers. It's more of a dull achy numb annoying feeling. I work on the computer all day. Should I call my Doctor or try and rearrange my workstation? It really only hurts if I am using my left arm/hand...if it is just resting the feeling is not there.

Thanks!

The last few days our son has had them off and on but it is with a fever and he seems in pretty bad pain. More so that I remember with my own as a kid. the fever part leads us to assume it's a flu or virus causing joint pain mostly in his knees, calves, and ankles. Or are we off base? Is this a Dr. visit issue or should we wait a day or so to determine that. It's the fever that makes us wonder if it's more tahn "growing pains". And he is also adopted, so some medical issues are more of a concern due to the msyteries of his genetic background. Thanks for any help you guys may have!

I am schedule to have arthroscopic knee surgery on 08-28-07.I am currently on 40mg prednisone for another condition. Is it safe to be on the prednisone and have surgery?
I won't be off the prednisone until they switch me over to methotrexate and I know that I can't have surgery while on that.
Thanks

Hey everyone, first time user here so please bear with me.

On my right hand side, i think its between my 5th and 6th rib down, there is a pain, it isnt there all the time, and when it is normally i can deal with it as it is a slight annoyance. Here is what i feel.

If i put my chin to my chest a sharp pain explodes in that area. If i breath in deeply i cough uncontrollably. twisting to the right less then 30degrees hurts and tot he left just over half way. Doctors have no idea took an xray but couldnt see anything.

Today, iwoke up this morning rolled over in bed and the pain exploded the worst i have had it, knocked me out cold. waking up again later moving out of bed was terrible, and i spent the better part of the morning coughing thick phlem. While normally i am extremly healthly. The pain has been with me the entire day and has crippled me.

Does anyone have any idea? any information would be helpful i am lost!

I used to get one every few months, but recently it's more like once a week, and I had five at work this evening. They used to be sudden and over quickly, but lately they last longer. Tonight they seemed to have echoes; the stab would last for ten or fifteen seconds, but a lingering aching/sore feeling would persist for another minute or two. How can I keep these from reoccuring?

Okay, the doctor put me on Cymbalta for pain and to help with some of my slight depression. I have Sjorgren's and Rhemitoid arthritis. Some days I hurt really bad and it is hard to be in a good mood when you hurt. Any way, he wants me also to go to pain management but my mom says insurance won't cover that. Why wouldn't they and is she correct? Also, has your doctor ever put you on that for pain? Thanks!
