Generally they shouldn't hurt too bad. Obviously it is a shock to your body even something small like that. But if they are overly red and swollen you might think about taking them out so they don't further get infected. But a little bit of pain is normal. And you should also clean them several times a day. With the ear cleaner they hopefully gave you?

Yes its normal because you have just had a not very sharp object forced through your ear so it would hurt. It shouldnt hurt to bad tho if it hurts too badly take some pain medication but yoy should try not to sleep or touch them too much as that can irritate and your hand have bacteria on them. They should be fine in a few weeks when they have been given time to heal

Yeah, that's normal. A lot of the after piercing pain is dependent on how you were pierced and where. If you got your cartilage pierced then it could be achy and sore for a few weeks. Also if you just got your lobes done with a piercing gun the trauma from the gun can cause some discomfort for a while. Just make sure you keep it clean and wash your hands before touching your new piercings.

Yeah it is normal. You've basically put a hole in your body and your body is just reacting. They best thing to do is keep turning them and use the ear solution that was giving to you. If you don't have any then just use some rubbing acohol. But dont' worry the pain will go away shortly.

Um yes.
You have just put holes through your flesh, and that's going to hurt for a while. Plus there's this foreign body in your ears which your body has to heal around. That takes time.
Just make sure you keep the hair away from them, and keep them clean. Did they supply you with some solution to apply? Don't forget to use it as often as they said, to prevent infection. And only touch them with CLEAN hands, don't keep fiddling with them.
The pain should lessen in the next few days, but it takes up to 6 weeks for the holes to heal completely.
Never understood the fascination with putting extra holes in the human body, but there you go.

You might just have sensitive ears. Alot of people experience pain for a few days just keep them clean so they won't get infected and if the pain is that bad put some ice on it.

Ya they will be tender for a couple days. If they are very red and very tender they might be infected. Even if they are you should just keep them clean and try not to touch them too much to keep the dirt from your hands off them. But yes... a little tenderness is normal.

I just got mine done like 2 days ago. And mine are a little sore also. I hate that they say it's not normal to hurt. It seems so stupid to me. I mean we just got things shoved through our skin, they can't say it shouldn't hurt.
