I gave birth to a baby girl on Friday, Saturday morning I had my "tubes tied". I know the pain I'm in is from the gas they used during the surgery, what I need to know is how do I get relief? I was told to "pass gas" but well, that's not exactly easy. I was also told to keep as mobile as I'm comfortable enough to be. I have been up and walking around today, and as soon as I tried to lay down and go to sleep, the pain was back full force. Is there anything I can take to try to relieve some of this gas? I have a 2 day old infant to care for, I need to rest when she allows and if I'm in this much pain there is no way for me to get any sleep! Last night in the hospital I had to sleep sitting up in bed, at home that's not as likely of an option. Please help me!

get headaches from-
lack of sleep
too much sleep
sun
heat
exercise
contacts...[there the right prescription and i take good care of cleaning them.]
stress.

im 12 years old.started getting almost daily headaches about 2 months ago-and its still going on.

i havnt been to the doctor in over a year.
headaches are sometimes associated with nausea;dizziness; and light headedness.
could this be a brain tumor...or just migrains?

Why do my ears hurt so much? Is it from swimming a lot? I feel this piercing pain, that leads to a headache. I would loveeeee to get rid of it, but i would first like to know what the cause is. And the pain is in my inner ear.

Years ago, my dad was at a dance and was actually doing the 'twist' at the time. He was also holding a female in the air with him arms. Well they next day he was in excruiating pain on both legs, on the inside of the legs, just below the knee. Its not actually the knee, it is just below on the inside leg and feels very painfull, tender and like a burning sensation.

Since then, this pain has come back time and time again. My folks are huge rock and rollers and love to dance, but this problem is causing my dad a lot of pain. He is 63 years old. Does anyone know what it could be, or what maybe the twist action did? My only thoughts are because his upper body was fairly stationery when he was dancing (as he was holding the female), so he wasn't necessarily turning with it, could he have twisted something and caused long term damage? Any help, any remedies, any advice much appreciated for my dancing dad! thank you in advance!

Lately, I've been getting heartburn, sometimes that lasts for around 24 hours. It's not always necessarily typical "heartburn," but sometimes, just a funny feeling in my throat, as I've swallowed a pill without enough water. This has been happening for nearly 3 weeks now, every couple days or so. I've taken Zantac and Tums, neither of which have helped very much. I've been to the doctor once, when it was pretty severe, and she had no idea what to tell me, which was awfully disconcerting.

Any suggestions?

Sometimes I'll get strange pain in my legs, and I'm not sure where it's coming from or why. It will extend from my lower back, through my hips, thighs, and calves, and to my ankles. It doesn't feel like muscle pain, and can sometimes ache for days. Could it be some kind of referred pain or trouble with nerve connections?

Well I'm not sure if I should be seriously worried but I'd like to see what it might be. For 2 years now I've been having sharp pains all over my body at the most random places. They don't all last the same amount of time but they are extreamly painfull. What could it be or is this just normal?
