whenever i drink a sugary drink ie coke or fruit juice i get a really bad pain and ache in my stomache, i remember reading somewhere it might be a bacteria that lives off sugar and when i drink sugary things its reacting with it. anyone know what this is or how i get rid of it?

no its not because of the drink being cold its because of a type of bacteria that lives in your gut, i know this already i just need the name of cure for it

I think that the bacteria you refer to is Helicobacter Pylorii, but i sincerely doubt that this is the cause of your problem. If coke and fruit juice are the main causes I would suggest that you have an overproduction of acid in your tum and maybe a little gastric reflux. Speak to your doc, he may put you on Omeprazole or Lansoprazole. You could also ask a pharmacist at any dispensing chemist, there are over the counter remedies similar to the above.l

When you drink cola or fruit juice, you are consuming it cold. Cold causes the stomach to contract and that is your source of The stomach ache. I always advise my clients to never consume food or drink in a cold condition as it stops the digestive process. I think if you do this you will stop having the stomach ache.

See your doctor. If it is a bacteria feeding off sugary drinks cut them out for now and consume capsules containing 'friendly' bacteria. You can get these from Holland & Barrats.
