Tight shoes can cause everything that everybody else has suggested. They can also cause nerve problems, hammered toes (they stay curled up when you take your shoes off), corns... There are so many potential problems, many of which can be permanent. The bottom line is that it is important for your shoes to fit correctly.

Bent, misshapen toes; bunions...nothing good. Shoes should fit without being too tight or loose.

tight shoes will cause ingrown toenails that have to be taken care of by a Podiatrist.

In my experience, tight shoes have given me blisters, and with one pair of shoes, they put holes in every pair of socks that I wore with them.
