Well I'm not sure if I should be seriously worried but I'd like to see what it might be. For 2 years now I've been having sharp pains all over my body at the most random places. They don't all last the same amount of time but they are extreamly painfull. What could it be or is this just normal?

Hi TheOughtT, you don't offer enough information for anyone to help you with your question.

May I offer a little advice on this.

Keep a diary of how you feel each day, where the pain occurs and how long it lasts, as well as, what part of the day it occurs.

After you have recorded this information for a period of time, take your records to the doctor and speak with him or her knowlegeably.

It's very difficult to diagnose random pain but the more information you have the better your chances of getting a proper diagnosis.

I would also recommend you record what you do each day, activity wise as well as the foods you eat.

Remember, these records are for YOUR BENEFIT so the more honestly you record this data, the better equiped you are at getting to the route of the problem.

A doctor might be able to spot something like fibromyalgia. But if it is muscles and not to that point see a massage therapist.
Sugars (even the substitutes) amplify pain consider limiting them.
Natural edible muscle relaxers (because they contain magnisium which regulates many things in the body and potassium) are bananas and/or molasses.
For more information on muscles read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use both a massage therapist and a chiropractor who is a muscle specialist.

If you haven't seen a doctor by now about this, you need to. It would be irresponsible for any of us to try and diagnose your problems here on Q & A, even if any of us were medical professionals. You need a 'hands-on' visit with your physician, where the proper tests can be run.

Please call a doctor right away on Monday. Best of luck to you...

This does not sound normal and I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.
