Hi,

I have started an excercise program and it hurt my thigh (back thigh). On Monday I started with 10 min walking. then I did leg extension and leg curl- 12/set and 3 sets. Yesterday I didn't do any leg exercise but did for arm and 20 min rowing.

I had no pain while I was excercising. But yesterday night onwards, I have this horrible pain at the back thighs and unable to walk properly. can anyone tell what it is and how can I take care of it?

well this is kinda embarassing to ask. well my stomach hurts a lot more than it should. i get diarreah all the time and it sucks. i think it runs in my family or something because my brother and my grandpop get the same way( the weird thing is that i never throw up or anything i havent thown up in 3 years and thats weird.) in sixth grade i missed 30 days of school because of it!! i hate it i get really bad stomach pain and then dirrahrea and sometimes im scared to go out. when my friends ask me to hang out i say no unless they come over my house because im scared that my stomach will hurt. i had some pretty bad experiences wiht it. sometimes when it happens at school, my nurse doesnt understand and she says to go back to class and sit it out. i cant just sit it out if it hurts that bad and i cant keep getting up and going to the bathroomm cus it would get pretty awkward. does anyone else get this way?? please tell me waht u do to deal with it please. i really need your help. please!!!

This was my original question that I would like you to read before answering this one.
My back hurt from Thursday until Sunday, stopped Monday & Tuesday for the most part, then when I woke up Wednesday it was back again. I have been getting more rest, exercising easily, and sleeping on my back or stomach. Does this mean it could be a popped nerve since it is recurring?

Which parts of the brain and which neurotransmitters supress the pain when you let's say step on a needle while walking on a high rope thus prevent you from reacting?

Normally I play bass at least two hours a day when possible, I've been playing for about a year.

Lately, for some reason after about 1/2 an hour into playing the muscle going from the base of my wrist up to my thumb (it's kind of fleshy/muscle) I've started to get cramped/shooting pain so I have to shake it out.

Any ideas on what it could be? And more importantly, any temporary pain relief methods?

I was in the hospital for pain in my kidneys. I was prescribed an antibiotic and also vicodin for the pain.. Is it just me or is something wrong? I took this in the mid afternoon, and it had me sleep until the next day about 3pm. I NEVER sleep long. ever! I feel like I'm about to walk into things, almost dazed. Is this normal? Can anyone tell me what this stuff can do to you? I am ready to try some extra advil instead

I know this is probably one of those question I should be going to the doctors or what not for but it's 2:00 in the morning and my mother has slept through me having hallucinations and screaming on the top of my lungs for ten minutes straight.

Anyways, I'm having this terrible pain in my chest area, well not really my chest but right below my breast area but in the rib cage? It's not a constant thing, it comes and goes but it's worse when I stand up or take a deep breath.

I'm a 17 year old female and the only pills I take on a daily basis is my birth control [I'm on yaz]

Anyone have any insight?

I have a horrible stomach ache. I know a lot of times that if you have a stomach ache and you throw up that it makes you feel a lot better. The problem is I can't make myself throw up. Can anybody tell me if there is a way I can make myself so that this awful stomach ache will go away? Please hurry!

I've had severe nerve pain for about 4 years, I am on disability - I was approved the first time. That should tell you how severe it has been. T11 and T12 were severely rotated, and T10, L1 L2 were also rotated. The pain runs across the #11 Nerve - Intercostal nerve. They tried meds like Neurontin and Lyrica, they helped with the pain a lot but I couldn't tolerate either, both caused me severe side effects and I had to quit both. All they can do is give me narcotics and send me to the pain clinic - both methods are ineffective for me.I've improved a lot in the past year, mostly through physical therapy - but I still don't have enough control of pain - and I'm trying to get where I can work again. My wife died a year ago (she was 42, I am 45 now) -and I don't want to be home all the time,I want to be productive, and I try very hard. The pain along the 11 nerve is still fairly bad,and if I go off the narcotics it's unmanageable. I've gone to lots of doctors for 4 years, not much help
