Ah, caffeine withdrawal..... never fun.

The time-frame will depend on how long you were on it, your body's metabolism, and how well you remove toxins. Drinking water will help to detox, and taking some supplements that work as cleansers may help as well. Specifically, Apple Cider Vinegar, Green Tea (decaffeinated), Chlorophyll (fantastic cleanser), and even good amounts of fiber and water helps some people (although it's not very comfortable for the lower level of detoxification you get).

All that being said.... if you've been off for a week, it's likely they should stop soon. Your neurotransmitters don't take too terribly long to scream for something they are addicted to after you stop.

Can't give duration. i have treated 20 yrs cases.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

When I quit drinking coke, it took 2 weeks for the headaches to finally stop. Try drinking a LOT of water. You may be dehydrating some, which can also cause headaches.

When you are getting yourself of the brain rush that your body knows from caffiene, you should replace it with a natural rush that we call exercise.
Plus you get benefits like losing fat and gaining muscle. Then the headaches will go as you hydrate yourself more often (water) and get your jolt from physical activity.And you'll look a lot better. Woo hoo.

Different for everyone. Probably not too much longer. I've quit 4 times now, and each time was different, but in each case the real unpleasant stuff eased up after a couple weeks.

me thinks you're going through detox (kinda like getting of a drug, in your case caffeine) it will last a few more days...it depends on how long you've been addicted to coffee, the longer, the longer the headaches last...but once they go the free feeling is really good...so hang on there!

How long is entirely dependent upon your body, unfortunately. Try drinking more water and reduce any other caffeinated beverages you might be having.
