I heard they don't just crack bones, but massage & manipulate them more gently. Does anyone have more information? Anyway the methods were supposed to be more modern. I think my Chiro is "old school" if so.

I've had fibromyalgia since 1991 and have been treated with P.T., medications (tramadol, elavil, clonopin, & lorab), stretching, massage therapy (when I can afford it), and some biofeedback. My neck and back are so tied in knots it feels like concrete. My current regiman barely gets me by. I have worked steadily since diagnosed, and done some pretty physical type jobs. I do believe staying active is much better than laying around feeling sorry for myself. It helps me take my mind off of the pain if I keep busy. I couldn't afford to live on disability even if I wanted to, lol.

Just a note here I have asked this question before in a different category but nobody was answering it is so ya

Hey I was wonder I hung out with my crush (in June) and I have a huge crush on her. And when I hung out with her I got really sick and I actually threw up (it didn’t help that I drank ice tea I know that was part of it and another part of it was cuz I was nervous but I have been nervous before and it felt nothing like that), most embarrassing moment of my life. But then I hung out with her again and it wasn’t that bad as the first time. I was still nervous but it wasn’t that bad (one thing was because I didn’t have ice tea). I don’t know what to do because I really want to see her but I don’t want to be sick at all when I am around her. Let me know if you know how to make it go away (I have only seen her 3 times, once was when I met her)

8 1/2 mnths preggers. I have done abso nothing to my foot! Last wed it starting hurting and it hasnt stopped. I figured it was another "one of those pregnancy things" but I am concerned now. Let me expain the pain... It hurts on the top and botton of my foot when there is any pressure on it where my 3rd and 4th toe are. My toes DO NOT HURT. It's my foot in that area. There is no swelling no bruising no cuts scrapes NOTHING! It just hurts! And when i elevate it it starts to tingle but when its just on the floor when i am sitting it burns and tingles also. It hurts SO MUCH to walk on it. I told my OB/GYN to see if it was preg related and she said go to the ER asap thinking it was a blood clot! It's not so the Dr says b/c there are no major veins in ur foot and we did 3 x rays and nothing. It's obviously something bc my foot hurts so much! Hr gave me a foot bootie to wear and called it a day LOL! Thanks! Has anyone had these same probs or ne thing like it? I mean u think the ER would kno!

My hands, feet get cold and tingle and my head tingles and being sent to a Rehmotolgist from my neurologist cause Carpal tunnel and P.N is not the problem but my cousins told me it could be due to no exercises or not in shape and said if i exercise the tingling and cold will go away? Look at my other questions so you can help me with my problem. 2 years and the problem not better?
My head does not get cold though. And yes members of my family do have diabetes but i am not sure if I do.

Also been on several medications for what I have Perphial Neurology (I think that the way to spell it) but the medications not working.
Also my hands and feet get red sometimes and nails get blue only when cold. My muceles/bones get soar.

Other members of my family dont exercises either and they dont have any problems?

i have had painin my shoulder and lower back for years , but the doctors never see anything on the x-ray but the pain is still there , when i ask for pain meds they consider me some sort of drug seeker and dismiss me maybe with ibuprofin 800 mg. (which serves no purpose at all) . What should I do ?

Lately my back has been hurting when I do thing that I have to bend my back on. Back walkovers hurt that most. I rested for about a week and then took Aleve every time I went to gym. My started to feel better so i stopped taking the Aleve for two practices but on the second practice, it starting hurting again, This time not as bad, but enough for me to only do 15 that day. My coach says that I;m just really tight and my parents say to do what my coach says which is too to continue taking Aleve until the season is over and then maybe go to a doctor. What do you think? I'm 13 by the way.

The ball of my left foot hurts (a sharp pain) most of the time when I run more so on hard surfaces, though it is not so painful that it affects my stride. It also hurts when I press on the area with my thumb, but feels fine when I release the pressure. It hurts occasionally when I walk which I believe may have something to do with my gait-- I don't have much an arch. I run about 40 miles a week but I've been doing this for years, it's not like I had some drastic increase in training (except I had a little bit of time off 3 weeks ago for a rolled ankle and have just recently gotten back to my normal mileage). I've heard that there are little bandages you can put on your foot to shift the areas where you're placing pressure on it. But just to be safe: is it likely that this problem is metatarsalgia or does it sound more like a stress fracture?

For almost a month now the lower part of my neck connecting to my upper back has been hurting like crazy. At first I thought I pulled it but now I'm just not sure. My parent doesn't seem to care all she says is 'suck it up' in a playful manor when I tell her about it (i'm 15yrs by the way). Anyway could it be something I did or what? I can't sit down for longer than twenty minutes and if I try to keep my head up straight it hurts even worse. Hope you guys can help.

Ok here is the deal, While serving in the Marine Corps I was seriously wounded. The Major damage was to my back and spine. I am in constant pain and surgery, PT, OT didn't help the VA's only course of action to treat me has been to shove pain meds down me. I can not sleep, sit, stand or walk without the Pain meds. (I have tried to not take them with painful results)

They have me taking 900mg of Gabapentin 4 times a day for nerve damage, and 60mg of Morhine Sulfate 3 times a day and 12 pills of Hydrocodone 5/500mg a day for the pain. I have been on this much for over a year with less amounts for 3 years.

How much damage is being done to my insides (kidneys, liver, etc) in order to control my pain?

I would like a medical persons answer please

My legs have that feeling that you would have if you were lifting heavy weights with them, except they're resting. It started about an hour ago, and it's still going on. I have no idea what it would be. I didn't just exercise with them, and I wasn't even walking around at the time it started. Anyone have any idea?

Should I take pain killers? The pain is bearable, though quite a neuisance.

I've got this thing on the back of my head on the left side under my hair. It started out as a small knot that kind of hurt. Now after a few days it's a big bump that hurts so bad. Should I be worried? I've never had anything like this happen before.

I'am 16 this year and i've started to feel these sharp pains everyday since about 2 weeks ago. They come suddenly and would last for a few seconds. Mostly on my back. They feel like mini electric shocks. Sometimes it's very painful and unbearable but sometimes it's not as pain. I've checked my own body throught the mirror and i don't see any marks or brusies. I do not know what is going on and i don't think i can last any longer with this pain. May i know what is causing this pain and how can i cure it naturally? I can't bear with it much longer anymore. HELP ME PLEASE !!

Suppose I have a killer toothache and I take a couple aspirin. After a half hour, the pain is still there, so I take a couple tylenol. After another half hour the pain is STILL there, so I take an ibuprophen and call my dentist. Now, assuming I have normal blood pressure and don't drink often (2-3 per week) , is there any danger in this?

My doctor gave me 75mg of Lyrica to take at bedtime for Fibromyalgia. I'm curious if anyone can tell me if they have taken this low dose and if they saw any improvement in the stiffness of joints and muscles. Everything I've read so far was relief after taking 150+ mg several times a day.

Thanks!!
