I've got this thing on the back of my head on the left side under my hair. It started out as a small knot that kind of hurt. Now after a few days it's a big bump that hurts so bad. Should I be worried? I've never had anything like this happen before.

Could be a boil. You should see a doctor because it needs to be lanced and packed. I've had them on my head like you describe before and if you let them get really big, it's gonna be one hell of a *****-kitty pain-wise to get it taken care of. See a doc ASAP so they can lance it!

It could be a mole. I had something on the back of my head to that started out as a little pimple sort of thing and then it got bigger and bigger, but eventually stopped growing. It was just a mole though. I wouldn't be too worried until you have something to be worried about. Go to the doctors just to ease your mind.
I hope everything is okay and it's nothing serious.
Please let us know what it is.

I've had a pimple in my hair line before so that's one possibility but the only way to know for sure is to have this checked out by your doctor to see what they think is going on.

Could be a swollen Lymph node. Have you been sick at all? You need to see a Dr, that is NOT normal.
Good Luck!

Better to be safe than sorry. Go get it checked out by your local GP as soon as possible.

I would go & see a doctor. It sounds nasty & if it is causing pain you should get it checked out.
