I get up in the morning. My throat hurts. I got to school, and it feels better. The second I get home my upper throat begins to hurt. When it hurts is practically like clockwork. I just went back to school 2 days ago (when it began to hurt). Is it possible from the lack of sleep (getting up at 5:30 instead of 8:30), the fact that I have to talk extremely loud (I was practically screaming during my lunch period since I could barely hear a thing), and the possibility I caught something at school, that I got sore throat? Thanks for the answers!

I mean even everytime I work, or do something, it goes numb. I hope someone can help me determine what might be wrong.

When someone barely grabs my arms or put one finger on my chest, under my throat, it is so painful. It feels like they are touching a bad bruise. Also, when I sleep at night my ears will actually ache from laying on them. It hurts my hips and shoulders too when laying on my side. My grandfather has this but he is 88. I am only 36. It is so painful.

Like I had a chest cold .. a lady I work for , told me that I exercised my lungs and they are sore from my deep breathing . Is this possible? I do not have a cold, nor am I coughing.

I work at a job that has probably positioned my spine out of allignment over the years. I run a converyor belt in a factory. Anyways I have just started to work out at a gym because I have gained weight. When walking on the tread mill (not running) I have noticed my right leg feels like it is under greater pressure than the left leg and my right knee is getting sore.

Any tips or hints to keep my leg from bothering me?

Lately my right kneecap has been giving me problems.

Especially after my leg is in one position for a long time. When I stand up, my kneecap kind of gives way and it feels as if it the kneecap bent in. (not sure if that's that correct term.) There's a sharp pain and I often have to bend my leg(not straighten) to relieve the sudden shock.

What could be the cause of it? I am 16 by the way.

I was given samples for Imitrex but I'm not sure if I should try it. Maybe I have a high pain tolerance, maybe it's not a migraine. I don't know when a migraine is starting or if it even is a migraine.
I have one right now and I don't know what to do. I've had if for hours and hours. I need help.
I really really need help.
Any advice on Imitrex and migraines/headaches is much appreciated.

? I have a problem and sure hope you can give me some advice on how to make things better. I started a job about 2 months ago, working in fast food. I haven't worked in over 2 years, and thats when the pain first started. I have always had back problems from strains to bruised muscles. So every time I sit or lie down I get pain in the front of my thighs. My back hurts so bad at times I can barley walk, so I try to rest and then my thighs hurt so bad. It kinda feels like a cramp that sting and burn. I have to rub my thigh very hard to finally make it stop. Sometimes it;'s like I can't rub it hard enough, so I have to have hubby do it for me. It doesn't matter if I am sitting upright or lieing down the minute I am off my feet it hits me untill I stand up and walk for a minute. Which sometimes can be just as bad with my back pain that shoots down my legs. Can you please help on what I can do to relieve the pain????

I've had a severe chronic migraine headache that has lasted for the last 8 months that has been one continuous, unremitting headache, not individual headaches that occur every day. I am disabled as a result of this (something all of my doctors have concurred with) and have tried every single preventative and abortive there is with no success, along with tons of alternatives like acupuncture. To make matters worse, I recently contracted Lyme Disease, which has been adding it's own painful and debilitating effects.I vomit at least twice a day, and I have hypertension. But I am 15, so this means that often what I say to the doctors is just ignored. The only medication that has actually helped me has been oxycodone and hydromorphone. But when I went to the pain management clinic at Boston Children's Hospital, I went through a 5 hour process to be told try to exercise and try relaxation.I almost cried.

P.S. The most recent studies on opioids show they're MUCH safer than commonly believed.

I had a pretty intensive ankle surgery less than 2 weeks ago. I am in a cast and was recently given a refill on my pain prescription. My old prescription was Percocet 5-325MG. My new prescription is Percocet 10-325MG. Would this make my new prescription stronger? Please advise and thank you so much in advance.
