hi im a 48 year old women, and i have started to notice arthirtis in my left hand, when i form a fist or grip it hurts, what can i do to cool that pain or possibly eliminate it, id prefer something natural, no hardcore medicines thank you

Soak your hand in hot water with 1c. of Epsom salts , afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the hand. this should relieve the stiffness. There are some very good over the counter medications to help with the pain. I like Advil liquid capsules because they work very quickly on the pain.

Well...since joining the croquet club I am becoming quite an expert. Magnetic bracelets and rings seem to be quite popular and work with a lot of people (as do the old copper bracelets/rings).

However, I must say that the most stunning improvement I have seen was in a gent that is nearly crippled with arthritis and started taking 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon each day (on his porridge or in his tea or wherever). The result was almost miraculous. Worth a try methinks. Helen

the only way to stop it is to get physical therapy or use those rub on things continuously
