recently i have had a flu, where it was non stop coughing and sneezing and then i had a day full of vomiting, and now my rib hurts just under my right boob, it hurts to lay on my back and on my side and i can feel minor pain when i lie on my stomach, the pain is so intense that tears are coming out of my eyes, it also hurts to breath really deep breaths or move the upper part of my body

could it be muscle strain bcoz of me being sick and coughin or culd it be something worse?!?

This is probably a pull of the inner costal muscles in the rib cage. And it will hurt exactly like you describe. It's very hard to recover from this type of Muscle strain. I recommend you get massage therapy or chiropractic care as soon as possible to relieve the strained muscles. This will help you start to recover very quickly.

If you feel that it's something worse see your medical doctor.

I agree - to learn more about muscles read The Trigger Point Therapy by Davies.
Natural muscle relaxers are molasses (a couple of swigs) and bananas because they both contain magnisium and potassium.
