Be careful, hydrocodone is a barituate and is not like other opiates you can die from severe withdraws of barbituates but other than that you should start feeling better after the fourth or fifth day, it sucks I know, hot baths help, weed helps for the appetite, and nausia, im not a smoker but for medical reasons im not so hesitent to get better. ide slowly take em over time instead of cold turkey it takes longer but is not so severe

I went through the same thing about a year ago. I actually went down to hydrocodone after being on stronger pills. I then went from that to nothing. It was horrible, I didn't sleep for days and felt so sick....so i know exactly how you feel... but.. it does get better!!! Give it a few days, do something fun to try and keep your mind of it. Getting off those pills was the best thing I have ever done. I feel so much better and happier, I am a completely different person!
Good luck, hang in there!!!

I did it myself, the worst feelings should be over in about a week.
You will probably have diareah and feel down and lazy. Then if you had body pain before they will come back full force because your body hasnt had to use its natural pain relievers.
If you want to go to your doctor and tell him what you are doing they could possibly give you something to help with the withdrawls.
I wish you sooo much luck!
PS A lot of it depends on how much you took in the past, like how many a day and such.

If a regular hydrocodone user stops taking hydrocodone, he or she will experience withdrawal symptoms within six to twelve hours but the symptoms are usually not life-threatening. The intensity of withdrawal symptoms from hydrocodone depend on the degree of the addiction. For example, the symptoms withdrawal from hydrocodone may grow stronger for twenty-four to seventy-two hours and then gradually decline over a period of seven to fourteen days. The duration of withdrawal symptoms from Hydrocodone varies greatly from person to person.

Hydrocodone withdrawal symptoms include but are not limited to:

intense cravings for the drug
irritability
nausea or vomiting
muscle aches
runny nose or eyes
dilated pupils
sweating
diarrhea
yawning
fevers
chills
inability to sleep
depression

Good luck and I hope you start feeling better soon.

You are almost there - the first three days are the worst for physical symptoms, just need to get through tomorrow and you should start feeling better- The Craving can last for a few weeks though which is why many relapse to using it. Good Luck, Take Care

Here is what I suggest to get you over the worst part of the withdrawals.

To help with the withdrawals take hot bathes with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts and soak for 30 minutes. The skin is the biggest organ of elimination and this will help pull out the drugs. Use a loofa to clean the pores and this will help pull the drugs out even faster.

I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.

I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day and 2c. a day of fresh carrot juice, to flush the medicine out of your liver. Taking 500mg of calcium and magnesium twice a day will help you to relax.

Drink chamomile tea throughout the day and evening to help you stay relaxed.

Use a powdered fiber supplement twice daily to pull the drugs out of your intestines where they store.

Two of the questionnaires in this forum did follow this program to withdraw from drugs and it did help. I've enclosed a link where you can read their response to this program.
