my nephew has headaches ever day and i want to know brain toomer or like dyslexia can that give headaches?

there bad enough to make him cry and hes a tough kid, hes always got the worst headache around 1:00 to 2:00 and it goes on till he goes to sleep i would really like a answer, sorry for my bad grammer

I was getting bad headaches every day like you are describing. I had CT scans, had my eyes checked, MRI's... you name it and they never could figure out the problem. The doctor's indicated that it was a vascular problem, meaning that there was some constriction of the blood vessels in my brain that would stop the flow of blood and was causing the pain. This was able to be treated with medication, but make sure they don't give him Topamax since that caused me to get kidney stones. After a while they just went away and I am doing fine now without any medications. I would say get him to your family doctor and/or a neurologist right away.

It could be as simple as a vision problem or a blood sugar issue or as problematic as a brain tumor. Either way, it's not something that should continue.

Make an appointment with his regular doctor ASAP - this is nothing to mess with. Meanwhile, keep a headache diary. Have him rate the pain on a scale of 1-10, 1 being just annoying and 10 being the WORST ever. Note how much pain reliever (tylenol or advil) he gets and when, then ask him again to rate the pain 90 minutes later. Keep track of what he eats and what activities he does as well. This will help the doctor evaluate him properly. (Some foods can cause a reaction that will give a headache, and if he does stuff like plays a lot of video games or works with small pieces, his eyes strain.)

I've heard severe dehydration also causes this. But I remember my boyfriend saying he's suffered intense migraines since he was a kid and the doctors told him it's rare that he should get them as a child not to mention, as a male since it's more dominant in females. You're better off getting a pediatricians' analysis. This sounds extreme for a child.

First, I would have his eyes checked. Poor eyesite can cause headaches quicker than a lot of things. Try that before you start about Brain Tumors, etc.

have his eyes checked... if he is straining to read/see it can cause severe migranes... with the pain starting after lunch... after he's been up for a few hours.... its a good possibility.
